The area
Fre­de­ri­cia is a town with a fa­sci­nat­ing history, with the straight streets and ramparts that encircle the city. The town was ori­gi­nal­ly establis­hed as a fortress in the 1600s. It can still be felt on a walk on the ramparts. There is also an exciting city life, a theater, and small inviting cafes. In Fre­de­ri­cia is also an urban beach. Within 10 minutes' walk from the center, you can reach the Øster­strand.
