Description
The house is furnished for the family and contains three good bedrooms - two with double beds and one with two single beds. There is of course both an extra bed and a high chair for the little ones. The bathroom is spacious with underfloor heating, shower and allows for relax in the spa and sauna. The kitchen is in open connection with the dining and living room with wood stove and access to a lovely, large and partially covered wooden terrace and the child-friendly garden with i.a. swing, sandpit, and bonfire. Explore the beautiful nature of southern Jutland, Skamlingsbanken or Hejlsminde Nor, where a nature trail leads through a unique nature area with a rich animal and plant life. By car you can visit the old castle town of Kolding, which offers a swimming pool, museums, restaurants and a large shopping center. Finally, you can visit LEGOLAND®, which has rides and experiences for guests of all ages (the park is not open all year - see opening hours on their website).
The area
Hejlsminde is a nice holiday home area with a fine beach, beautiful nature and good fishing opportunities. You also find a swimming-pool, a cafeteria and a restaurant in Hejlsminde. The historic towns of Christiansfeld, Haderslev and Kolding are within short distance from Hejlsminde. In Kolding, 15 km north of Hejlsminde, there are good shopping facilities in the walking street and in the shopping mall as well as a large aqua park with wellness center. In Kolding you can also find exciting sights such as the museums Koldinghus which is an ancient castle and the design museum Trapholt.
