New sommer house with a loverly terrace near Saksild Beach

We are pleased to welcome you to this newly built holiday home close to Saksild Strand. The house is built in 2021 and ideal for a cozy and relaxing holiday in a modern setting with family and friends.

The house has 3 bedrooms, open kitchen / living room, two nice bathrooms and utility room. The beds are all quality double beds, and one bedroom has direct access to its own bathroom with toilet and shower.

The heart and gathering place of the house is de­fi­ni­te­ly the bright kitchen / living room which is centrally located in the house with great light from the large windows. In the kitchen there is eve­ryt­hing you need of modern fa­ci­li­ties. Here are induction hobs with built-in hood, oven, microwave, coffee maker, Espresso coffee maker, dis­hwas­her, re­fri­ge­ra­tor, freezer and a fine wine re­fri­ge­ra­tor that can ensure that the white wine is cold for those cozy hours on the terrace.

Directly off the kitchen is a dining area with ample space for everyone to enjoy the day's meals together or gather for board games and so­ci­a­lizing.

The living room has a cosy sofa with a beautiful view of the area and a TV. There are no TV channels in the house, but you can watch your own TV and streaming services via the house's Chro­mecast and your own mobile/tablet.

There is also a loft with a daybed which will surely be a nice cosy corner during your stay.

There is free internet with a speed of 100/100 Mbit.

In the utility room of the house, there is a washing machine with a combined dryer, so you can get your bath towels washed after a long day at the beach.

Outdoor

Around the house there is a nice wooden terrace with lots of nice garden furniture, sun loungers, parasols and lounge furniture. It would be a great idea to cook several of the day's meals on the house's large gas barbecue and enjoy them here with the family. The house is located high in the area and from the terraces there is a beautiful view of the fields and co­un­trysi­de.

On the terrace there is also a super nice wil­der­ness pool, which you will surely enjoy during your stay.

The house also has an outdoor shower, which can be used during the summer months. It is both re­fres­hing and practical to take a bath outside after a lovely day at the beach.

With only 300 m. from East Jutland's very best beach as it is both sandy beach and very child-friendly, this cottage is ideal for a beach holiday in the summer, but also for a stay in the winter months where you can go winter swimming or enjoy a long walk along the beautiful coast.

If you like active holidays, you can for example enjoy the water, cycling or hiking all year round in the beautiful nature of the area.

Tip: Bike and paddle rental at Saksild Strand Camping.

Within walking distance is Re­stau­rant Bon­de­hu­set, Vaf­fel­hu­set, Trekanten (pizza) and Strands­hop­pen with various groceries and a new mini golf course in the summer of 2021.

In Saksild you will also find Denmark's oldest mini golf course, where you can challenge each other and eat tasty large ice cream.

It is not far to the small cozy port town of Norsminde, where you can enjoy an ice cream or dine at the reputable Norsminde Kro. Here is "Fi­ske­hu­set" where you can buy both lunch and dinner at rea­so­nab­le prices.

From Hou there are daily ferry crossings to the islands of Samsø and Tunø. So a day trip to one of these cosy islands is a must.

8 km. from the summer house is Odder, which offers the cosiest pe­de­stri­an street with fine shopping op­portu­ni­ties, a large selection of shops for groceries and fine sights. Visit here "Denmark's largest Kvickly" a grocery and facility store, which offers many good deals and fine ex­pe­ri­en­ces. 

The bowling centre "Kuglen & Keglen" in Odder also has many outdoor acti­vi­ties for the whole family, both young and old.

Half an hour's drive away, Aarhus, Denmark's second largest city, can be enjoyed and ex­pe­ri­en­ced. Here you will find the historic and living museum The Old Town, the art museum AROS, Moesgaard Museum, the shopping centre Bruuns Galleri and Tivoli Friheden. The city offers a wide range of cultural ex­pe­ri­en­ces, shopping and many fine dining options.
