Newly built cottage in 2021 by Saksild Strand with activity room, spa, sauna and wil­der­ness bath

It is a pleasure to welcome you to this newly built holiday home close to Saksild Beach. The house is well-decorated and is ideal for a relaxing holiday in modern settings, where you won’t mis anything.

The house has six nice bedrooms, a large loft with room for two to sleep, an open kitchen / family room, a large living room, two lovely bathrooms, spa, sauna, activity room and an outdoor hot tub.

There are four bedrooms with quality double beds, a loft with mattres­ses, a room with single beds and a room with a bunk bed (80x160 cm) and a pull-out bed for the little ones. two of the bedrooms require you to step out the front door to get into them. They are therefore suitable for those who want a little more peace and privacy.
There are also two quality hig­h­chairs from Leander and TripTrap as well as a cot. In the room with the bunk bed you will also find a football table. In three of the bedrooms there is a TV.

The large and bright kitchen / living room is centrally located and contains eve­ryt­hing you need of modern fa­ci­li­ties for delicious cooking.

In direct con­nection to the kitchen is a large dining area and an area with a cozy sofa ar­ran­ge­ment and an ottoman, where you can gather after a nice day at the beach and enjoy yourself with board games, puzzles, con­ver­sa­tion or maybe watch a movie on the large 55 '' 4G-TV , which has Chro­mecast and ad­di­tio­nal LAN cable. There is free 50/50 MB internet.

The activity room offers many hours of fun. You can challenge your family in a game on the PS3 or at the pool table. There is also a 55” 4G TV with Chro­mecast and extra LAN cable. So streaming runs quickly and ef­fi­ci­ent­ly.

There are two spacious bathrooms in the house. If the weather is cold and chilly you can relax and reheat in the spa and in the sauna. The house offers a washer and dryer.

In general: a holiday home with a lot of op­portu­ni­ties for children and adults. Enjoy!

Outdoor
The op­portu­ni­ties to stay outside during the stay are great. Due to the location of the house the wooden terrace around the house, with nice garden furniture, sun loungers and lounge furniture always offers pleasant sunny nooks. It will be natural to prepare several meals of the day on the grill and enjoy them on the partially covered terrace.
In the garden there is lot of space for ball games and play. For the little ones is a play tower with a swing and sandbox with shovels and buckets. The house is equipped with fun garden games such as croquet, pole tennis, the king game, badminton rackets and more.
All year round you can use the wil­der­ness bath and enjoy some relaxing hours.

The house also offers an outdoor shower which is wonderful after a nice day of swimming by the sea.

Location
The holiday home is only 250 m. from East Jutland's very best beach. The sandy beach is very child-friendly and has the "Blue Flag".

Within walking distance, you find Re­stau­rant Bon­de­hu­set, Vaf­fel­hu­set, Trekanten (pizza) and Strands­hop­pen with various groceries. Eat tasty ice cream and challenge your family and friends in Saksild at Denmark's oldest mini golf course.

It is not far from the small harbor town Norsminde, here you can enjoy an ice cream or eat at the reputable Norsminde Inn.

If you like an active holiday, it can be achieved by the water, by bike or hiking in the beautiful nature of the area. Tip: Rent bicycles and paddles at Saksild Strand Camping.

From Hou is a daily ferry to the islands of Samsø and Tunø which we recommend for a day trip.

Eight km. from the holiday home is the town of Odder, which offers the nicest pe­de­stri­an street with fine shopping op­portu­ni­ties, large selection of shops for groceries and fine sights. Visit "Denmark's largest Kvickly" which offers many good offers and great ex­pe­ri­en­ces.

The bowling center "Kuglen & Keglen" in Odder also has many outdoor acti­vi­ties for the whole family.

Aarhus, Denmark's second largest city is only half an hour's drive away. There you will find i.a. Den Gamle By, art museum AROS, Moesgaard Museum, shopping center Bruuns Galleri and Tivoli Friheden. The city offers a large selection of cultural ex­pe­ri­en­ces, shopping and many dining options.
