Lovely holiday home with the very best wooden terrace at Saksild Strand

The holiday home was expanded in 1995 and then con­ti­nuous­ly renovated. Eve­ryt­hing is well main­tai­ned, bright and modern.

Indoor
When you enter the large, bright living room, you are greeted with the soul of the holiday home and the feeling that this is a cosy place to be.

The wood-burning stove easily heats up the cosy living room and the open kitchen, which is directly connected. The holiday home also has a heat pump with aircon­di­tion. The kitchen has an induction hob and dis­hwas­her, and from the kitchen there is an east-facing exit to the garden. The holiday home has access from the corridor to three good bedrooms with double beds.

Outdoor
From the living room there is direct access to a large, new, sunny and fantastic terrace. It is open, but shielded from view, so you can enjoy the outdoors at the utmost. When the dew falls, the terrace also has a large covered area where you can enjoy the evenings. No matter what the summer weather brings, you can spend time on the terrace. Even the spring and autumn sun can be enjoyed here, and a large part of your holiday will be spent here while cooking on the gas grill.

The location
When you are on holiday in East Jutland - Saksild Strand is de­fi­ni­te­ly pre­fe­rab­le. Here you will find the finest sandy beach and the op­portu­ni­ty for lovely walks along the beach. Close to the holiday home is the former beach hotel, which was built in Italian style in 1906 by a pastry chef from Odder. Today, the place is used as a health centre. You are welcome to go into the garden and take a closer look.

Odder town is close by with good shopping op­portu­ni­ties, and it is recom­men­ded to visit the Eco­lo­gi­cal Garden, which is the largest visitor garden in the Nordic region. Just a 20-minute drive from Saksild is Denmark's second largest city, Aarhus, which offers life by the river and on the harbour - and don't miss out on a visit to Aros Art Museum and/or Den Gamle By.
