Welcometo a luxurious holiday home with room for the whole family in a beautiful location!
With its 145 square metres, the house is well laid out with a large living room and dining area in extension of the kitchen. The living room is large and spacious with a cosy sofa group where you can enjoy a good film in theTV or have a family competition in a board game.
In the living room, you can gather around the wood-burning stove on chilly days, relax and read a good book.
The kitchen has everything you need during your stay with modern facilities for delicious cooking.
The house's 5 large bedrooms are arranged so that 3 of the rooms are inside the house and 2 rooms are in the neighbouring annex with their own toilet and shower. All rooms have direct access to the lovely countryside and are equipped with quality mattresses.
The bathroom inside the house has a large walk-in shower with two rainshower shower heads, as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer, so you can wash your beach towels after a long day on the nearby sandy beach just 150 metres away.
There is underfloor heating (air to water system) throughout the house, which helps to create a good indoor climate at a reasonable price.
It is allowed to bring your dog.
There is also free Wi-Fi in the house and Danish, German, Norwegian and Swedish channels on the TV.
Outdoor
There are plenty of opportunities to spend time outdoors during your stay. Around the house there is a beautiful wooden terrace with lovely garden furniture and sun loungers. You can prepare several of the day's meals on the house's barbecue and enjoy them on the covered terrace where the entrance to the annex is located.
There are plenty of fun activities in the garden, where there is also a trampoline.in the lawn.
After a long day at Saksild Strand - one of Denmark's best beaches - you can rinse off under the house's outdoor shower. And for the cooler evenings, you can light up the outdoor fireplace and maybe even roast a marshmallow!
A must-try during your stay is the wonderful outdoor spa, which is ready for use upon arrival.
There are many opportunities to find a spot for relaxing, reading a good book, or maybe just a holiday nap.

Location
The holiday home is only 150 metres from the best beach in East Jutland. The sandy beach is shallow and very child-friendly.
Within walking distance are Restaurant Bondehuset, Vaffelhuset, Trekanten (pizza) and Strandshoppen with various groceries and a new mini golf course from summer 2021. In Saksild you will also find Denmark's oldest mini golf course, where you can challenge each other and eat tasty ice cream.
If you're looking for an active holiday, you can enjoy the water, biking or hiking in the beautiful nature in the area. Tip: Bike and paddle hire at Saksild Strand Camping.
The small, lovely harbour of Norsminde is not far away, where you can enjoy an ice cream or eat at the renowned Norsminde Kro.
From Hou there are daily ferry crossings to the islands of Samsø and Tunø. So a day trip to one of these lovely islands is an obvious choice.
Only 8 km from the holiday home is Odder, which offers the most lovely pedestrian street with great shopping opportunities, a large selection of shops for groceries and fine sights. Visit "Denmark's largest Kvickly", which offers many great offers anda big variety of groceries.
The bowling centre "Kuglen & Keglen" in Odder also has many outdoor activities for the whole family, both young and old.
Half an hour's drive away, you can enjoy and experience Aarhus, Denmark's second largest city. Here you'll find Den Gamle By, AROS Art Museum, Moesgaard Museum, Bruuns Galleri shopping centre and Tivoli Friheden. The city offers a wide range of cultural experiences, shopping and many fine dining options.
