This lovely sum­mer­hou­se is only 300 metres from the beautiful beach, Dyngby Strand. It is great to spend time together as a family in this classic sum­mer­hou­se with Nordic décor.

The natural focal point of the house is the spacious kitchen/dining room, which is also the first room you enter. Here you'll find a cosy sofa area where you can watch TV and enjoy the view of the garden. In the sum­mer­hou­se you can relax to some of the Danish, German, Norwegian and Swedish TV channels. In addition, the TV is also equipped with a Chro­mecast, which makes it possible to stream your own content from, for example, a phone or tablet, using the WiFi available.

Enjoy the peace and quiet in the armchair by the wood-burning stove. The wood-burning stove provides cosiness and warmth in the cold months. The kitchen/family room is spacious for playing on the floor, games at the table and watching a good film on the TV. This must be the essence of classic, Danish sum­mer­hou­se-cosiness.

The house has a large dining table where you can enjoy a nice dinner or a game of cards. From your seat at the dining table, you can look out onto the lovely terrace and fenced, enclosed garden.

There is direct access to the terrace from the living room. Sit down in the fine garden furniture and ex­pe­ri­en­ce the joy of slowing down. Take advantage of the lovely Danish summer evenings and fire up the house's good gas barbecue.

The sum­mer­hou­se has 2 nice bedrooms, both equipped with com­fortab­le double beds. The bedrooms are located at either end of the sum­mer­hou­se. From one bedroom there is direct access to the garden. This bedroom is ideal for the early riser who enjoys getting up, opening the door and hearing birdsong first thing in the morning. In one of the bedrooms, you can lounge in bed and watch TV. Just like in the living room, there are several channels, as well as a Chro­mecast where you can stream your favourite pro­gram­mes.

Like the rest of the house, the bathroom was renovated in 2020. The bathroom is bright and at­tra­cti­ve in the con­si­stent­ly good Nordic sum­mer­hou­se style. There is un­der­floor heating and plenty of natural light.

In addition to the wood-burning stove, the house is heated by electric heating.

Outdoor
From the kitchen/dining room there is direct access to the large terrace, which is partially covered. Here you can relax and enjoy your holiday. If you need shelter from the sun, you'll find a com­fortab­le cool spot under the parasol.

Let the children play in the enclosed garden, which is sur­ro­un­ded by a hedge. Children can spend numerous hours here. They can play football on the lawn, and swing or slide to their heart's content. You are com­ple­te­ly secluded from the neig­h­bours' gaze in this large enclosed garden. This is your very own private oasis.

You can also make use of the gas barbecue available on the terrace. In the area around Dyngby you will find several roadside stalls and good farm shops. All the delicious in­gre­di­ents are highly recom­men­ded on the barbecue while you enjoy the tranquil­li­ty and summer evenings.

Location
The sum­mer­hou­se is only 300 metres from the lovely Dyngby Strand, a quiet beach with high-quality bathing water. The beach is child-friendly, with a wide sandy beach and shallow water.

Via the sign­po­sted “Hjertesti”, you can walk the 3.5 ki­lo­metres to the beautiful Saksild beach, where there are also several shopping op­portu­ni­ties. Dyngby beach is also ideal for anglers who can walk out from the shore. There are good chances of catching both sea trout and cod.

The nearest shopping fa­ci­li­ties are 4.5 ki­lo­metres from the house, but if you drive 9 ki­lo­metres, Odder is a sa­tis­fying shopping town with a wide selection of specialty shops on the cosy pe­de­stri­an street and the country's largest Kvickly, a grocery store.

Odder Golf Club, which is just 13 ki­lo­metres from the sum­mer­hou­se.

A 40-minute drive takes you to Horsens, which is beau­ti­ful­ly situated at the end of Horsens Fjord. Horsens also has a pe­de­stri­a­ni­sed shopping street. In addition, there is also a rich cultural life in Horsens, where you can visit both the In­du­stri­al Museum and Horsens Art Museum. There are ex­pe­ri­en­ces for the whole family.

In just over half an hour by car, you can also reach Jutland's largest city, Aarhus. So it's easy to get from your sum­mer­hou­se to a city that offers eve­ryt­hing you could wish for in terms of city life, re­stau­rants, shops and cultural events. Aarhus hosts the annual Aarhus Festive week in August-September and the Northside festival in June. In addition, you can also visit the famous art museum Aros or the historic visitor centre, Den Gamle By. It is also possible to take the local railway from Odder directly into the centre of Aarhus.
