Cozy sum­mer­hou­se for the family close to Saksild Strand

This sum­mer­hou­se is only 125 meters from Saksild Beach, and it makes the setting for a cozy and classic sum­mer­hou­se holiday for the family with two adults, two children and a dog.

Wooden walls, ceilings and interior bricks have been preserved, so the house appears cozy and authentic, but the house is of an older date, so the peaceful and cozy at­mosp­he­re are at the center of the holiday in this house.

The first room you enter is the kitchen. It is a newer kitchen that appears nice and bright and with new elements such as an extractor hood, re­fri­ge­ra­tor with freezer and dis­hwas­her. It is therefore a nice fun­ctio­nal kitchen where you can easily prepare all the meals of the vacation and at the same time enjoy the lovely east-facing windows and the view to the garden.

From the kitchen you enter the living room, which exudes classic sum­mer­hou­se coziness with wooden walls, carpet, a nice wood stove and large windows that provide a good view of the lovely garden.

In the living room there are several cozy corners as well as a sofa and armchairs, where you can relax in front of the stove or turn on the TV. In extension of the living room is also a dining table, where there is room for 4 people, but when the weather is good, you can also access the covered terrace, where it is perfect to enjoy the day's meals and the garden.

The sum­mer­hou­se has two bedrooms which are next to each other and the toilet. Both bedrooms have two single beds, bedside lamps, and plenty of storage space. The rooms are small and classic sum­mer­hou­se rooms.

The bathroom is newer, and it appears bright with a shower cabin, tiles and un­der­floor heating. The rest of the house is heated by a wood stove and electric radiators.

Outdoors
The sum­mer­hou­se has a lovely garden, which is sur­ro­un­ded by a fence and trees, so you can be here com­ple­te­ly un­dis­tur­bed. From the living room there is access to a lovely covered south-facing terrace, where you will find good garden furniture, a parasol and barbecue. There are also several sun loungers in the garden, so you can fully relax and enjoy the sun when it shines over Saksild beach and the house.
There is also a tiled terrace on the east and west side of the house, so there are good op­portu­ni­ties to find both shelter and sun. The garden has a lovely lawn, but there is also a decora­ti­ve, old water pump. In front of the house there is space to park the car.

Location
Saksild is a charming little holiday village with re­stau­rants, an ice cream parlor and a bakery. The child-friendly and very fine Saksild beach is a popular beach on the Odder coast, and there are good op­portu­ni­ties for swimming in the clear water or sun­bat­hing in peace and quiet. If you want a little more action, it is also possible to play mini golf or rent pad­dle­bo­ards and kayaks on the beach. Dyngby and Rude beach are also close by, so you can take some lovely walks along the beach or go on a trip in the area.

Just 8 ki­lo­me­ters south of Saksild is Hou ferry port, where there are daily de­par­tu­res to both Tunø and Samsø, so it is obvious to go on a day trip to one of the islands you can see from the coast.

It is also a good idea to visit Fru Møllers Mølleri, where there is a wide selection of locally produced spe­ci­al­ties, ice cream and ve­ge­tab­les. Just a 10-minute drive from the house is Odder, which is a lively town with eve­ryt­hing you need in terms of shops and en­tertain­ment. Here is a cozy pe­de­stri­an street with many specialty shops, Denmark's largest Kvickly, a grocery store and, among other things, a cinema and bowling center.

Saksild beach is only 26 ki­lo­me­ters from Aarhus, so it is easy to get here from a larger city.
