Cosy and well-main­tai­ned holiday home at Rude Strand

Welcome to an extremely well-main­tai­ned and cosy holiday home with many fine details. The house has a kitchen with a dis­hwas­her and eve­ryt­hing you need during your stay. Directly connected to the kitchen is a cosy dining area for everyone. On cold days, the family can gather in sofa corner iin the living room to watch TV or play board games in front of the wood-burning stove.

There is a TV with Danish, German, Swedish and Norwegian channels + Chro­mecast and internet.

The house sleeps six persons in three bedrooms, all with double beds, and an alcove in the living room. One of the bedrooms has an extra fridge/freezer to keep your drinks cold on hot summer days,

The bathroom is fun­ctio­nal with un­der­floor heating, shower, toilet, towel dryer, washing machine and sauna.

The holiday home is very child-friendly with a changing table, baby bath, cot and two high chairs for children.

Outdoor
The holiday home is located in a quiet holiday home area close to Rude Strand.

The holiday home has both open and covered terraces, which means that outdoor life can be enjoyed for most of the year re­gard­less of the weather. There are many nice garden furniture which can be enjoyed with the family, where you can relax, read a good book or play on the large green lawn.

The garden is beautiful, and there is always shelter from the wind. In most places in the garden, you can spend a lot of time in privacy.

And it is likely that many of your holiday meals will be cooked on the large gas barbecue in the holiday home, which is ideal for this purpose.

After a long day at the beach, you can enjoy a re­fres­hing outdoor bath in the outdoor shower.

Location
The holiday home is located at one of East Jutland's best beaches. The sea at the sandy beach is shallow and very child-friendly.

Within walking distance are Re­stau­rant Bon­de­hu­set, Vaf­fel­hu­set, Trekanten (pizza) and Strands­hop­pen with various groceries.

In Saksild you will also find Denmark's oldest minigolf course, where you can challenge each other and eat tasty large ice creams.

The small, cosy harbour town of Norsminde is not far away, where you can enjoy an ice cream or dine at the renowned Norsminde Kro.

If you prefer an active holiday, you can spend it by the water, cycling or hiking in the beautiful nature in the area.

From Hou there are daily ferry crossings to the islands of Tunø and Samsø.

Only 8 km away is Odder, which offers the most cosy pe­de­stri­an street with great shopping op­portu­ni­ties, a large selection of shops for groceries and in­te­r­e­sting sights.

The bowling centre "Kuglen & Keglen" in Odder also has many outdoor acti­vi­ties for the whole family.

Half an hour's drive away, you can enjoy and ex­pe­ri­en­ce Aarhus, Denmark's second largest city. Here you will find Den Gamle By, Aros Art Museum, Bruuns Galleri shopping centre and Tivoli Friheden.
