Beautiful sum­mer­hou­se with great ar­chi­tec­tu­re at Kysing Beach close to Aarhus

It is a pleasure to welcome you to this unique and newly built sum­mer­hou­se from 2022.

This architect-designed house is full of at­mosp­he­re - and seen from above has the shape of a butterfly!

Interior

At Kysing Beach you can enjoy your holiday in this very special sum­mer­hou­se, which is both an ar­chi­tec­tu­ral gem and has a good di­stri­bu­tion of the 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large and spacious kitchen/living room. In this living room everyone can gather, and you even have a sea view.

The first room you enter is the kitchen. It is a bright and modern kitchen that has plenty of space to prepare holiday meals including the cooking-island, which is central in the kitchen. It invites everyone to join in the cooking and enjoy quality time together. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a coffee machine and a wine fridge, among other things. The large floor-to-ceiling windows allows plenty of sunlight to enter the house, and there is a good con­nection with the terrace, which is directly accessed from the kitchen.
Next to the kitchen, the dining table is placed in the middle of the room, so there is a good overview of the kitchen, living room and nice view to the sea.

Open to the kitchen and dining area, the living room is furnished with a com­fortab­le sofa and a TV on the wall. If you want a change from the sea view, you can turn on the TV and use the Chro­mecast, where it is possible to stream your own channels and content. The house also has fast internet free to use.

The butterfly-shape of the sum­mer­hou­se creates some cosy and organic spaces, with rounded corners and good light from the windows. The sym­me­tri­cal house has two bedrooms and a bathroom in each wing with the kitchen/living room in the middle. The four bedrooms are bright, with good storage space and com­fortab­le beds that are put together to make double beds or kept as single beds. This gives space in the house for a total of 8 overnight guests. In addition, there is also a cot and children´s chair available in the house.

The two bathrooms are modernly decorated with colored tiles and a large shower head. The bathrooms are not large but are fun­ctio­nal and with un­der­floor heating. The rest of the house is provided with wooden/parquet floors and un­der­floor heating aswell, which makes it easy to keep a good tem­pe­ra­tu­re in the house all year round.

A washing machine and tumble dryer can be used in an out­bu­il­ding, accessed via the terrace.

Outdoor

The summer house is sur­ro­un­ded by a lawn, as well as a few trees and hedges. There are space for outdoor acti­vi­ties such as football, but it is an open garden, which preserves the good view of the water.
In addition, there are two wooden terraces, the one with access from the living room is east-facing, while the other and larger terrace with access from the kitchen is west-facing. On the terrace you will find garden furniture, sun loungers and a barbecue. When the weather permits, it is perfect to take your meals or a glass of wine out to enjoy the sunset. The terraces are nicely framed by the house, providing both shelter and more privacy.

There's also an outdoor shower, so it's easy to take a rinse after a trip to the beach, which is only 75 meters from the cottage. The modern shape of the house plays well with nature, as it is built in wood and with moss and grass on the roof.
If you arrive in an electric car, it is allowed to charge your car. Please bring your own cable.

Location

The summer house is very close to the fjord, the sea and a good bathing beach on the beautiful East Jutland coast. The house is not far to the cosy Norsminde Harbour. Here you can, among other things, visit Fi­ske­hu­set and have a light meal on the quay, or you can eat at the well-known inn, Norsminde Kro.

If you like hiking, there are plenty of op­portu­ni­ties for this, as you can both walk around the nose and into the fjord itself. You should also not cheat yourself of walking all the way around Kysing Næs, this is a really nice walk.

Furt­her­more, the cottage is close to Aarhus and the bus leaves from the harbour several times a day. For example, take the bus into Aarhus and enjoy a cup of coffee or lunch by “Aaen”, an open stream in the middle of the city, and then take a walk in the super nice pe­de­stri­an street. We also recommend a visit to the Aros art museum and the Mu­sik­hu­set, located in the city centre.

The summer house's central location in East Jutland means you're close to both the main at­tra­ctions and the biggest cultural events. Legoland, Givskud Zoo, Djurs Som­mer­land, Kat­te­gat­cen­tret and many other major at­tra­ctions are within driving distance of the house.
