Welcome to an older, authentic and cosy holiday home close to Saksild Strand.

When staying in and around the house, you can enjoy the beautiful sea views which can be seen from the living room, bedrooms, terrace and garden.

The house has 3 bedrooms, kitchen/dining room, living room, the con­ser­va­tory, bathroom and utility room. The house is very suitable for both family and friends when you are going on holiday or just want a little break from everyday life, where you can relax and be together in a scenic area very close to Saksild Beach.

In spring 2022, the carpets in the bedrooms and living room were removed. There is now a beautiful new vinyl floor with a wood look.

There are three bedrooms, all with double beds. Two of the bedrooms are in­ter­con­nected.

In the kitchen-dining room, there is plenty of space for you all to gather around the dining table and talk about the day's ex­pe­ri­en­ces. Directly connected to the kitchen/family room is the living room, where there is a TV with Danish, German, Swedish and Norwegian channels. There is also a TV in one of the bedrooms.

The bathroom has a toilet and shower. The utility room has a washing machine and an extra fridge-freezer.

Outdoor
The holiday home is located on a scenic block just 350 metres from the beach. We are sure you will enjoy having your feet in the sand just a 5-minute walk from the house. On the beach, you will easily spend hours swimming, building sandcast­les and taking long walks all year round.

There are plenty of options for staying outside during your stay, depending on your pre­fe­ren­ce for sun, wind and shade. There are several nice terraces with garden furniture, sun loungers and a barbecue for relaxing and being together all day long.

The con­ser­va­tory, which has direct access from the living room, is another place where you can gather and enjoy time together, read a good book and enjoy the day's meals together, perhaps cooked on the house's barbecue.

Location
The holiday home is only 350 metres from East Jutland's very best beaches. The sandy beach is shallow and very child-friendly and has a "Blue Flag".

Within walking distance are Re­stau­rant Bon­de­hu­set, Vaf­fel­hu­set, Trekanten (pizza) and Strands­hop­pen with various groceries. Only 200 metres from the holiday home you will also find Denmark's oldest minigolf course, where you can challenge each other and eat tasty ice cream.

The small, cosy harbour of Norsminde is not far away, where you can enjoy an ice cream or dine at the renowned Norsminde Kro.

If you prefer an active holiday, you can spend it by the water, cycling or hiking in the beautiful nature in the area. From Hou there are daily ferry crossings to the islands of Tunø and Samsø.

Odder is only 8 km away and offers a very lovely pe­de­stri­an street with great shopping op­portu­ni­ties, a large selection of shops for groceries and great sights. The bowling centre "Kuglen & Keglen" in Odder also has many outdoor acti­vi­ties for the whole family.

Half an hour by car and you are in Aarhus, Denmark's second largest city, to be enjoyed and ex­pe­ri­en­ced. In Aarhus you will find Den Gamle By, Aros Art Museum, Bruuns Galleri shopping centre and Tivoli Friheden.
