Welcome to this lovely holiday home, which is completely new built in the summer of 2022.
You are guaranteed a great holiday in this holiday home with all modern facilities as well as a bath and sauna. At the same time, it is very cosy with a wood-burning stove and a scenic plot surrounded by trees.
The house can accommodate 8 people with 4 bedrooms. Three of the bedrooms are with quality double beds and the last one a three-quarter bed. The bedrooms are stylishly furnished with good wardrobe space and bedside lamps. From the bedrooms there is easy access to the two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms also offers wellness facilities with a sauna and bathtub.
The kitchen is spacious and stylish with all the amenities you need, plus plenty of space to cook. The open-plan kitchen/living room invites you to spend cosy moments in the kitchen and at the same time with those who have made themselves comfortable on the sofa. At the central kitchen table there are two highchairs from which you can talk to the chef or help with the cooking.
From the sofa there is a nice view of the garden and the wood-burning stove. Furthermore, the TV has Danish, Nordic and German channels as well as Chromecast. There is also free 100/100 MB internet in the house.
The dining table seats 8 people with comfortable chairs and a good amount of light from the large windows. There is also access to the terrace, so it is easy to enjoy the lunch outside on a nice summer day.
The house also has a washing machine, so you can be sure to spend all your time together and preferably on the beach, which is only 400 metres away. The outdoor shower is beneficial after a beach trip and on a hot day.
For the colder months, there is underfloor heating throughout the house as well as a heat pump and wood-burning stove, so both warmth and cosiness are assured.
Outdoors
The large wooden terrace has many nooks and crannies for dining and relaxing outdoors. You will find comfortable garden furniture, sun loungers and lounge furniture that you can move depending on whether you want sun or shade on the terrace. Under the partially covered terrace, you can also use the gas grill to prepare great meals.
Children can play in the sandbox in the large garden, which is bordered by trees and hedges, so you can enjoy privacy. The newly landscaped garden offers plenty of space for both ball games and relaxation.
Location
The house is only 400 meters from a lovely sandy beach, which is also one of the very best beaches in East Jutland with a "blue flag". There are plenty of opportunities for good walks, playing on the beach and swim in the sea.
Only 2.5 kilometers from the house you can do your grocery shopping all year round. If you want to go to a restaurant, you will find restaurant Himmel og Hav 1.5 km from the house and restaurant GROFT 3 km away.
In Rude beach you can visit the creative workshop; Eva Keramik. Nearby is also the cozy port town of Norsminde, where you can enjoy the good atmosphere and an ice cream on the harbor. Here is also the reputable restaurant Norsminde Kro.
Hou ferry port is only 10 km away, from here there are several daily departures to both Samsø and Tunø. So it's easy to go on a one-day island trip.
Only 8 km from the cottage you can visit Odder, which has a pleasant pedestrian street and a large selection of various specialty shops, large grocery stores and cultural offerings such as cinema, museum and bowling center "Kuglen og keglen".
About 30 minutes’ drive from the house is Aarhus. Jutland's largest city has everything you are looking for in a big city. Here are long pedestrian streets, Bruun gallery, a centrally located shopping center, as well as many cultural attractions such as art museum AROS, The Old Town and Moesgaard museum. Aarhus is always worth a visit.
