Summer house with private jetty by Norsminde Fjord and close to Kysing Beach, Norsminde Kro and Aarhus

This inviting sum­mer­hou­se is located in the first row to Norsminde Fjord, where nature and holidays can be enjoyed to the fullest. The house has room for 6 people in 3 rooms, and the living room and kitchen is a perfect common room. In the living room there is both a sofa corner with TV and a good dining area for 6 people. The TV has a TV package with Danish, Scan­di­navi­an and German TV channels and a Chro­mecast, which makes it possible to stream your own content via your mobile phone and the free WiFi.
In the open space you can be together, even if some are in the kitchen and others are sitting at the dining table. The windows overlook the fjord and the garden door gives direct access to the wooden terrace, so it is perfect to take your meals outside when the weather permits. In the middle of the living room there is also a wood-burning stove, which creates lovely warmth and cosiness in the evening or during the colder months. In addition, the house is heated by a heat pump and electric radiators.

The kitchen is directly connected to the living room, and here are great fa­ci­li­ties to prepare your meals. The kitchen is equipped with induction hobs, fridge freezer, oven and coffee machine, among other things. The kitchen is in open con­nection with the living room and you can enjoy the beautiful view to Norsminde Fjord.

From the kitchen/living room you can go directly into the entrance hall, which is also the di­stri­bu­tion room. From here there is access to the 3 bedrooms, which are divided into two rooms with double beds and one room with a single bed and bunk bed. The room with bunk bed is ideal for up to three children, as it also has storage, a desk and space to play. The other two bedrooms have com­fortab­le double beds and wardrobe space, windows, and bedside lamps. Throug­hout the house there are light wooden walls and ceilings, which creates a cosy and welcoming sum­mer­hou­se at­mosp­he­re.

Between the bedrooms is the bathroom, which is not large but is bright and modern with white tiles and a shower. Adjacent to the house, but with outside access, is a good shed/storage room where you can find the washing machine and dryer. If you have brought your bike, it is also possible to lock it in the shed. The summer house is generally bike-friendly, as there are beautiful cycling routes around Norsminde Fjord, and the red House Folder in the house provides cycling maps for in­spira­tion.

Outdoor
The large wooden terrace is perfect for enjoying the outdoors and the view over Norsminde Fjord and co­un­trysi­de.

From the living room there is access to the partially covered terrace, which provides shelter and is an ideal outdoor dining area. But the terrace continues around the house, so that there is also access from the kitchen and more seating. This means that you can always find a place with sun or shade. The terrace has several good garden furniture, sun loungers and a gas barbecue, so the terrace can be used most of the day. The house is sur­ro­un­ded by hedges, so you can be com­ple­te­ly in peace here.

The cottage also has a large garden with direct access to the fjord and even its own jetty. So there's plenty of room to play and it couldn't be easier to take a dip in the fjord. You can also bring your fishing rod and try to hook dinner from shore.

Near the water is a fire pit with seating all around, so you can light the fire and enjoy the tranqui­li­ty of the fjord or make bread at the bonfire.

Location
From the cottage there is a beautiful view over Norsminde Fjord, and the whole area around the coast offers many nature ex­pe­ri­en­ces. The slightly more southerly and fine Kysing beach is just 2 ki­lo­metres from the house, but eve­rywhe­re Norsminde fjord, which is also a wild life reserve, offers great nature ex­pe­ri­en­ces.

At Norsminde is also a small marina that buzzes with life in the summer. Here it is possible to go to a re­stau­rant, have an ice cream or visit the historic Norsminde Kro from 1693, which today offers ga­stro­no­my at a high level.

If you have your bicycle, the 18.4-kilometre Fjord Route is a great ex­pe­ri­en­ce. It stretches all the way around Norsminde fjord, so here you will ex­pe­ri­en­ce the area's fine beaches and views.

From the sum­mer­hou­seit is only 3 ki­lo­metres to the nearest shopping, but only 11 ki­lo­metres from the house is Odder, where there are many op­portu­ni­ties for shopping, cafes, and en­tertain­ment in, among other things, the cinema.

If you are looking for a bit more city life, Aarhus is just 18 ki­lo­metres from the house, and it takes just 30 minutes to drive into the city centre, where there are many cultural at­tra­ctions such as Aros art museum or Den Gamle By.
