Welcome inside

From a covered wooden terrace, you enter the house's entrance hall, which is also a distribution corridor to the bedrooms, bathroom and the lovely kitchen/family room and living room, which is the gathering space of the house.

The kitchen, dining table and living room are in the same open-plan space with white-painted walls and ceilings and large windows which let in plenty of light,

There is room for everyone and it's easy to be together, even if some are cooking and others are relaxing on the sofa. The centrally located wood-burning stove creates a lovely cottage atmosphere. The kitchen is open and bright with everything you need to prepare your holiday meals. Adjacent to the kitchen is a large dining table with double patio doors leading out onto the large south-facing terrace. If the weather is nice, it is ideal to take your meals outside.

Next to the dining table is an alcove under the sloping wall. It is very cosy for napping or spending the night. The living room is also simply and stylishly furnished with two sofas in front of the wood-burning stove, and the good windows provide light and a view of the garden. However, the living room also has a wall-mounted TV where you can choose what you want to watch via Chromecast, the house WiFi and your own tablet/mobile phone.Tthere are three bedrooms in the holiday home. One bedroom has a comfortable double bed, is also brightly decorated and has a lovely window overlooking the garden. The room opposite has a 140 x 200 cm double sofa bed and a 60 x 120 cm cot. The third bedroom has a bunk bed, so the little ones can easily make themselves at home here.

Next to the bedrooms is the bathroom, which is nicely decorated with white tiles, a built-in shower cubicle and a washing machine and tumble dryer. There are beautiful wooden parquet floors throughout the holiday home except in the bathroom, where there are tiles with underfloor heating. In addition to the wood-burning stove, the house is heated by electric radiators.

Enjoy life outside
This fine and classic holiday home has a lovely wooden terrace that runs around the house, so you can always find a spot with sun or shelter. The partially covered terrace with access from the kitchen/living room also allows you to sit in the comfortable garden chairs and enjoy meals or even cook them on the barbecue. The holiday home has both a gas and charcoal grill available. There are also sun loungers for when the sun comes out over Dyngby beach.

The large block provide space for both nature and play. The garden is surrounded by trees and bushes, so it is nicely secluded. It is ideal to let the children enjoy themselves in the garden, as there are swings and a sandpit.

There is ample parking in front of the house and if you drive an electric car, you can charge it at the house's CEE socket when you bring your own cable.

Get up close to the local attractions
The holiday home is located in a quiet holiday home area, just 220 metres from the beautiful and child-friendly Dyngby beach. There is plenty of space to swim or go for walks as there are not many guests in the area. The popular Saksild beach is about 6 kilometres from the holiday home, and here you will find several activities such as paddle board equipment hire, ice cream kiosks and restaurants.

If you want to buy local products, Fru Møllers Mølleri has something for everyone. Here you will find a small cafe, restaurant and a butcher, as well as the opportunity to buy local vegetables.

Odder is only 9 kilometres from the house and is a lively commercial town with good shops in the lovely pedestrian street, restaurants and Denmark's best supermarket Kvickly. When you are on Dyngby beach, Tunø lies due east, and if you want an adventurous day trip, you can drive 10 minutes to Hou, where there are good ferry connections to both Samsø and Tunø.

Just 10 kilometres north of the holiday home is the historic Norsminde Inn, where you can enjoy some lovely meals in the inn, which dates back to 1693.

A good half-hour drive from the holiday home is Aarhus, which offers everything you could wish for in a big city. There are good public transport links to the rest of the country, many restaurants, shops and the amusement park Tivoli Friheden, Moesgaard museum and Aros art museum. Dyngby beach is located in scenic surroundings, but is still close to everything you need and want on your holiday.
