This classic holiday home at Dyngby beach exudes relaxation in front of the stove with up to 6 family members and friends in the spacious living room and cosy holiday home.
The holiday home is wonderfully functional with an entrance hall, good-sized double bedrooms and a large living room/kitchen/family room that brings all the guests together for real holiday home atmosphere. The kitchen/family room and living room are divided at an angle but in a continuous space. This means that you can cook and enjoy meals while still being close to the others who may be staying in the living room.
The kitchen is functional with all the necessary appliances for preparing holiday meals. There is a dishwasher, fridge, as well as an oven and cooker hood. Next to the kitchen is the dining area, which is cosy and brightly decorated with wooden walls and ceilings. In a nice extension of the kitchen is the living room and the wood-burning stove, which is centrally located so that it both warms and gives a lovely atmosphere at the dining table and in the living room.
The living room has a nice sofa where you can relax and enjoy the view of the garden through the large windows and the glass door leading to the covered terrace. The living room has a wall-mounted TV with a wide selection of TV channels and a Chromecast where you can select content via your mobile or tablet and the house WiFi. Next to the stove and TV is a very cosy alcove, so it is perfect to use this corner for pure relaxation with a good film or book.
The holiday home has three lovely bedrooms, providing accommodation for a total of 6 persons. The first double bedroom is connected to the kitchen/living room. In addition to the comfortable double bed, there is plenty of closet space, bedside lamps and a window facing the garden. Right next door is another bedroom with a double bed and closet space. At the west end of the house is the last bedroom with a 120x200 cm bed. So it can also accommodate 1 or 2 persons who want to keep it small but sleep well.
The entrance hall is functionally furnished with a tiled floor, storage space and a washing machine as well as the holiday home's freezer and microwave. From the entrance hall you have access to the bathroom, which has a built-in shower cubicle and storage space. It is bright and inviting with new elements and tiled floor with underfloor heating as in the entrance hall. In addition to underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove, there is also a heat pump so you can enjoy a lovely holiday in the holiday home whatever the season.
Enjoy life outside
This lovely wooden holiday home is only 175 metres from the beach, so it is hard to beat this location so close to the scenic Dyngby beach. Surrounding the holiday home is a large, enclosed block with a lawn and plenty of space for ball games or just to relax. The garden also has a swing set and even a cable car for children and children at heart. There is also a petanque court so you can test your aiming and throwing skills in this fun and sociable game.
The house is surrounded by paving stones and there are plenty of opportunities to sit outside on the terrace. From the living room there is access to a partially covered terrace, which continues around the house to the south. This makes it ideal to take your meals outside or enjoy your morning coffee on the terrace. The terrace has nice garden furniture and a barbecue, so you can spend many hours together outside.
Get up close to the local attractions
The holiday home is located in a quiet holiday home area, just 175 metres from the beautiful and child-friendly Dyngby beach. There is a wide sandy beach and plenty of space to swim, relax or go for walks, as there are not many guests or ice-cream kiosks. If you want to visit a beach with more facilities, the popular Saksild beach is about 5 kilometres away and easy to cycle to.
If you want to buy local produce, Fru Møllers Mølleri has something for everyone. Here you wil lfind a café, a restaurant and a butcher shop, as well as the opportunity to buy local vegetables.
Odder is only 9 kilometres from the house and is a lively commercial town with good shops in the lovely pedestrian street, as well as several restaurants, a bowling centre and Denmark's best supermarket, Kvickly.
When you are on Dyngby beach, Tunø lies due east, and if you want an adventurous day trip, you can drive 10 minutes to Hou, where there are good ferry connections to both Samsø and Tunø. Further south, you can visit Horsens Fjord, which also offers many nature experiences. Here you can visit Alrø and take a beautiful walk by the fjord.
A good half hour's drive from the holiday home is Aarhus, the largest city in Jutland with everything you could wish for in a big city. There are good transport links to the rest of the country, many restaurants, shops, concerts and entertainment. Within a short driving distance, you can find most things at Dyngby beach.
