Interior
Very well maintained and bright holiday home with a large cosy living room with a wood-burning stove. The house is very tastefully decorated and from the living room there is a sea view and a view of the large enclosed garden. The dining room with the energy-friendly heat pump is connected to the well-equipped kitchen, which has a dishwasher. The house has two lovely bathrooms with walk-in showers and underfloor heating. The holiday home is child friendly and has a high chair, cot and baby bath tub. One bedroom has direct access to the garden and has a double bed. The second bedroom, connected to the living room, also has a double bed. The annex has two single beds and is located in the garden very close to the main house.
Outside
From both the living room and bedroom there is direct access to a lovely sunny south-facing terrace. In the garden there is also another terrace that is slightly elevated - also with nice garden furniture. The garden is lovely and there is a sandpit with a lid for small children. From the garden there is a sea view and you can enjoy the relaxing sound of the waves.
Location
In front of the holiday home is a large, scenic meadow area on the road down to a lovely beach with a new jetty. Here you can take a refreshing dip, enjoy the sun on the beach or bring your fishing rod. A large forest area borders Mariendal with paths leading to Moesgaard Museum and all the way to Aarhus. The forest offers great opportunities for walking and jogging. Or you can walk along the beach to the idyllic Norsminde marina, where lunch can be enjoyed in the newly renovated Fiskehuset. The holiday home is just 15 km south of Aarhus, Denmark's second largest city. So very centrally located what concerns attractions such as Den Gamle By, ARoS Art Museum, Randers Regnskov and Djurs Sommerland. Oh yeah - and Legoland is just an hour's drive away.
