Description
If you need to unwind from the everyday stress and rush, this wonderful holiday house is certainly something for you. Nature in the area is perfect for a walk or a bicycle ride, and what about jumping into the water from the bathing jetty, enjoying the scenic nature around you. From the living room there is the most beautiful 180 degrees fjord view.
Welcome inside
Inside the holiday house you will immediately sense the good atmosphere. Your shoulders will quickly drop, and you get the feeling that it is finally holiday time. The spacious living room in open connection with the kitchen makes it possible for the person in charge of cooking to participate in the conversation, in spite of being busy with the pots. To share a bottle of wine while gazing out on the fjord is certainly to be recommended.
Enjoy life outside
The holiday house is located with direct access to the Isefjord. On the lovely terrace you can lie down and enjoy the sun, while you are listening to the birds singing, or you may have the luck to see a roe deer passing by. Here you can also lose yourself in a nice novel, while the silence is really getting under your skin. After a beautiful day, where you have been using the bathing jetty to get a swim, we can recommend a bicycle ride in the undulating landscape, where you will get your pulse up and also a fantastic nature experience.
Get close to the local attractions
The holiday house is located in a quiet area by the Isefjord, where you can bathe, fish and go kayaking. Do not forget to visit the museum Malergaarden, the artist home of the Swane family; here you may enjoy your picnic or coffee with a breathtaking view. Or you can visit the farm shop Sidinge Gårdbutik, where you can buy the famous local juice or other of the local produce that the area is so known for. In the small town Vig you find the big barter market every Wednesday and Saturday in the summer season, and if you are willing to drive a bit further, you should visit Anneberg Culture Park, where you can see “17 Goals on My Mind”, a sculpture park, where 17 Danish and international artists have created sculptures, interpreting the world objective of the UN for sustainability. Here you can also taste the local beer and Danish Seaweed, and here you also find one of the area’s two Michelin restaurants.
