Welcome inside
We present here a unique holiday home from 2016: beautiful, modern, and of high quality. It is located on a hill, offering a magnificent view of the rugged dunes and the fascinating North Sea, which is equally captivating in both summer and winter. The heart and gathering place of the house is the large, open-plan kitchen-living room, with the kitchen positioned in the center and the living area and dining space on each side. The entire room has vaulted ceilings and large floor-to-ceiling windows, bringing in light and nature right into the house. With the built-in fireplace, the coziness is at its peak. Additionally, the house features two sleeping areas, each with its own luxurious and comfortable bathroom. In total, there are eight sleeping spaces, providing room for the whole family, creating a teenage area, or for hosting family or friends. All the furniture, beds, and inventory have been carefully selected to match the simple, Scandinavian, and inviting style that runs throughout the house. The holiday home is also fully equipped with modern conveniences, appliances, and technical solutions, including a heat pump, washing machine, tumble dryer, satellite TV, and wireless internet. Just bring your laptop or tablet from home, and it’s easy to log on and stay connected with friends back home or find information about the many opportunities in the area.
Enjoy life outside
From the parking area, you need to walk about 35 meters up a small path to reach the house, which is located on a large natural plot in the dunes, surrounded by marram grass and small hills. The entire house is encircled by a beautiful terrace area, so you can always find a sunny spot. To the west, you have the breathtaking sea view, while the east side offers a completely private space sheltered from the wind. Here, you’ll also find a lovely outdoor spa and a shower, so you can make the most of the Danish summer life.
Get up close to the local attractions
The North Sea is only 200 meters away, and just across from the holiday home, there’s a small path leading directly to the beach, so taking a dip in the vast sea has never been easier. Kettrup Bjerge is located between the popular holiday towns of Blokhus and Løkken and offers great nature experiences in the green and hilly terrain. For example, take a trip to Ørnbjerg, which rises 43 meters above the ground and, on clear days, offers views of both Hanstholm to the south and Rubjerg Knude to the north. Below Ørnbjerg, you can also experience a large WWII fortification with 23 bunkers and gun positions. If you’re traveling with children, we recommend a visit to Denmark’s most beautiful and best amusement park, Faarup Sommerland, where there are enough fun activities for an entire day with the family.
Remember, you can always borrow carts, high chairs, and baby cots from us at Feriepartner Løkken. You can pick them up directly at the office and return them to us once your holiday is over.
