Description
Spacious and bright holiday home with great activity options, where multiple families or generations can gather. Well-designed holiday house where multiple generations can come together and no one needs to get bored.
Welcome inside
This architect-designed holiday house, built in 2014, is 202 m² in size and thoughtfully designed so that multiple families or generations can come together without space feeling too tight. The large kitchen-living area with dining room and sofa section is the heart of the house. With its sloping ceiling, east-facing skylight, and large window sections, the room offers lots of light and a beautiful view – it’s the natural gathering point for family dinners and shared relaxation. The house has three separate sleeping areas (one in an annex) with space for a total of 18 guests: 10 people in the 5 bedrooms and 8 people in the 2 sleeping lofts. Note that each sleeping loft has around 20 m² of floor space and good height up to the peak of the ceiling (approx. 190 cm). There are bathrooms and toilets connected to the three sleeping areas, with one particularly luxurious area featuring a spa bath and sauna, perfect for relaxing after a lovely day in the sun or at the beach.
The annex is a popular retreat for the youngest family members – here, there’s a small activity room with air hockey, table football, and a Nintendo Wii, and it serves as the perfect den for games, fun, and coziness. Throughout the house, there is underfloor heating powered by an eco-friendly ground source heat pump, ensuring low heating costs, and free firewood allows for extra warmth from the house’s fireplace. The house is generally wheelchair accessible.
Enjoy life outside
From the kitchen, there is direct access to three large terraces located around the star-shaped house, so you can enjoy shade and sun on at least one terrace throughout the day and evening. The day starts on the lovely east-facing morning terrace and ends on the west-facing terrace as the sun sets. On the west-facing terrace, there’s a grill and an outdoor kitchen with a drain, perfect for preparing freshly caught fish from Løkken fishing boats or self-caught fish.
The large beach volleyball court on the property can also be used for games like rounders, soccer, and Viking games, and of course, there’s a sandbox and swing for the children. There are, of course, good garden furniture and sun loungers.
Get up close to the local attractions
Nr. Lyngby is located between the holiday towns of Løkken and Lønstrup, so you’re close to some of North Jutland’s best attractions, such as Børglum Monastery, Rubjerg Knude, the Family Farm Fun Park, the candy shop Bolcheriet in Løkken, and a trip to Faarup Sommerland near Saltum is also a hit. Additionally, the house is only 450 meters from the North Sea beach at Nr. Lyngby. Here, you can not only swim and build sandcastles but also view World War II bunkers and admire the high, fascinating cliffs along the coast.
Remember, you can always borrow wagons, high chairs, and baby beds from us at Feriepartner Løkken. You can pick them up directly at the office and return them after your holiday is over.
