Charming and Spacious Summer House in the Scenic Kettrup Bjerge

If you’re not already in vacation mode when you leave your home, it’s almost gu­a­ran­te­ed you will be in a fantastic mood as soon as you arrive at Rikkesvej 5 in Kettrup Bjerge. This summer house exudes tranqui­li­ty and coziness, featuring a wood-burning stove in the living room, a foosball table in the annex, and both a spa and sauna in the bathroom – all com­ple­men­ted by the beautiful, raw natural sur­ro­un­dings.

Welcome Inside
Indoors, you can enjoy views of rolling marram grass and scattered pine trees under the high sky, so even when inside, you feel close to nature. In typical summer house style, there is light wood paneling and a vaulted ceiling, and of course, a wood-burning stove in the living room – along with a ladder leading up to a loft where children can play or even sleep. The bright and spacious house also offers three good bedrooms, a guest toilet, and a bathroom. The latter is espe­ci­al­ly no­tewort­hy if you love wellness, as it includes a spa bath and sauna. The annex can be used for various purposes: The foosball table and TV can entertain the family, and the sofa bed can provide extra sleeping space for two people. Ad­di­tio­nal­ly, there is a desk with two office chairs for those who want to play computer games or need to focus on work.

Enjoy Life Outdoors
A large and lovely terrace area spreads around the summer house and to the annex, so you should have no trouble finding a de­light­ful spot to sit with sun and shelter. Part of the terrace is even well-shielded by a fence, while the natural grounds and the beautiful sur­ro­un­ding landscape ensure you have a pleasant view while sipping coffee and enjoying the sound of children playing on the swing set and in the sandbox. You can park your car in the carport – and if you’ve brought a bicycle or plan to explore Kettrup Bjerge on foot, the car might remain parked for much of the vacation.

Ex­pe­ri­en­ce Local At­tra­ctions
The summer house is only about 700 meters from the beach, and from the secluded Rikkesvej, you can follow a path straight into the dune landscape when you want to visit the North Sea. You can also make a stop at one of the area's viewpo­ints to enjoy a panoramic view of the coastline – in some places, you can even see all the way to Rubjerg Knude, a bit further north near Lønstrup. Kettrup Bjerge is well-placed between Blokhus and Løkken, providing easy access to both seaside towns, which offer charming squares, shopping, events, fine re­stau­rants, art, and culture. At the pier in Løkken and on the beach in Blokhus, you can see the legendary white beach huts. For active vacations, you can mountain bike on the trail in Gateway Blokhus or take a surf course at North Shore in Løkken. The fun amusement park Fårup Som­mer­land is also just a short drive away, and north of Løkken is the idyllic town of Lønstrup, known for its wide range of han­di­crafts.

Remember, you can always borrow wagons, high chairs, and baby beds from us at Fe­ri­e­part­ner Løkken. You can pick them up directly at the office and return them to us when your holiday is over.
