The charming wooden holiday home has been nestled in the dunes since 1936, and both inside and out, it’s clear that it has been well cared for ever since. The well-main­tai­ned rooms have been ta­ste­ful­ly mo­der­nized, and the fur­nis­hin­gs perfectly match the classic ar­chi­tec­tu­re and the de­light­ful natural sur­ro­un­dings revealed through the windows on all sides. A cozy at­mosp­he­re prevails throug­hout, including in the three bedrooms and the kitchen – even the bathroom is thought­ful­ly designed with light tones and inviting details. Almost the best room of all is the living room, a lovely gathering space with a wood-burning stove, large windows, wonderful natural light, and even a sea view.

Enjoy life outside
Your senses will be in­vi­gora­ted, and holiday tranqui­li­ty will settle in as you spend time on the de­light­ful terrace areas that wrap around the sides of the house. The rustle of marram grass in the breeze, the warmth of the sun, and the salty tang of the sea mix with the ocean views – and then the exhila­rat­ing chill as you head to the beach for a dip in the North Sea waves.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
Amalievej is a small, secluded road, and you’ll be staying almost at its end in the second row from the North Sea. Small paths lead you through the dunes and down to the wide beach, where there’s plenty of room to run, play, and lounge in the white sand. If you’re not spending the whole day at the beach, head into Løkken’s cozy town center to browse the small shops, dine at a re­stau­rant, or visit the local museum. For kids and kids-at-heart, Action House is highly recom­men­ded, offering acti­vi­ties such as bowling, laser tag, go-karting, shooting si­mu­la­tors, and much more.
