The classic wooden house is located right by the dunes, so you can enjoy views of waving marram grass and rosehip bushes while relaxing indoors. The large windows in the living room invite nature and plenty of sunlight inside, creating a cozy yet light-filled at­mosp­he­re. Even if you’re tempted to stay in with a good book or a family-friendly board game, you’ll still feel the un­mista­kab­le holiday vibes of the West Coast. In true summer house style, there’s a wood-burning stove, a loft with open beams, and a cozy alcove that’s perfect for an afternoon nap, reading the paper, or even spending the night in its snug sur­ro­un­dings. Of course, the two adjacent bedrooms offer great sleeping options as well, located con­ve­ni­ent­ly close to the bathroom with a shower.

Enjoy life outside
If the sun is shining as you brew your morning coffee in the kitchen, why not take a steaming cup outside? After all, isn’t it true that holiday meals and drinks taste even better in the fresh sea air, sur­ro­un­ded by the scent of blooming rosehips? Around the house, you’ll find several excellent terrace areas to choose from, many of them well-sheltered by the dunes, making it easy to find a private spot to enjoy life. In the evening, the gas grill makes outdoor cooking a breeze, and if the sunset promises to be par­ti­cu­lar­ly specta­cu­lar, you can quickly climb the highest dune or head down to the beach for an even better view.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
A holiday on the West Coast is a perfect way to unwind, with leisurely days filled with life’s simple pleasures like re­fres­hing swims in the sea, sandcast­le building, and enjoying a bowl of koldskål on the terrace. If you’re looking for more acti­vi­ties, you won’t have to go far. In Løkken, you can try surfing, fishing, golfing, or go-karting, visit art galleries, or explore the town’s excellent dining options. You can also take day trips around North Jutland, with easy access to at­tra­ctions like Børglum Monastery, Family Farm Fun, and Rubjerg Knude. A visit to the North Sea Oce­a­na­ri­um in Hirtshals is also highly recom­men­ded.
