Welcome inside
The summer house is situated high in the landscape, so you can enjoy the view of the dunes and the North Sea from both the living room, the kitchen, and the terraces. Natural materials and the connection to the sea are a key theme in the décor, and thanks to the friendly and cozy atmosphere, you’ll quickly feel at home. The summer house is ideal for a romantic getaway but also works just as well for a family holiday with the children in focus. In any case, the floor plan includes a bathroom with a hot tub and three good-sized bedrooms, one of which is a newly renovated double bedroom from 2021, with beautiful wooden flooring and rustic wooden trim on the walls. The attic can also be used as a sleeping space, and during the day, it serves as a wonderful lookout point with fantastic views. An equally lovely spot to spend time is the living area, where a well-equipped kitchen is beautifully integrated with two open living rooms. In one of the living rooms, there is a glass bay window, a wood stove, and a TV corner, while the other room features large windows that let in plenty of natural light and provide an unobstructed view of the surroundings.
Enjoy life outside
The 1,465 m² plot is located on a high dune, and this is why the view over the coastal landscape and the North Sea is so stunning. And it’s this sea view that you’ll enjoy while relaxing in the hot tub – a warm bath in such picturesque surroundings feels truly rejuvenating. The hot tub is located by the large northeast-facing terrace, which was renovated in 2020-2021, so it is now in pristine condition, with beautiful deck boards, an outdoor kitchen with cold and hot water, an outdoor shower, and a cozy pergola with wind-blocking glass panels. South of the house is another terrace, partially covered, providing a lovely outdoor space with a lounge atmosphere. Outside, there’s also thought put into the kids’ enjoyment, as they can have fun in the playhouse, swing, play in the sandbox, and use the football goals to practice their shots.
Get up close to the local attractions
From the summer house, it’s only 250 meters to the wide sandy beach, so it’s hard to stay any closer to the water than this. The North Sea is worth visiting year-round because it feels vast standing in front of the open water, whether the sun is shining, the wind is howling, or the snow is falling. Grønhøj is a beautiful and peaceful place to spend a vacation, and it’s also an excellent base to explore the entire Jammer Bay. For example, a visit to Family Fun Park or a trip to Rubjerg Knude is recommended, and Fårup Sommerland is also a fantastic outing. If you fancy an indoor swimming experience, you can drive a bit south and spend an afternoon at the subtropical water park in Blokhus.
Remember that you can always borrow carts, high chairs, and cribs from us at Feriepartner Løkken. You can pick them up directly from the office and return them once your vacation is over.
