Description
Situated on a high dune plot in the stunning dune landscape of Kettrup Bjerge, this large and well-designed holiday home can easily accommodate up to 10 people. Here, you’ll find the perfect setting for your holiday, as the house boasts a bright and airy atmosphere, and through the windows, you can enjoy the impressive views of the coastal surroundings and the North Sea.
Welcome inside
It feels exclusive to live with such a panoramic view, and you don’t necessarily need a packed itinerary when you can sit here and take in the beautiful scenery. The sea view is particularly impressive from the living room, where large panoramic windows provide an unobstructed view and lovely natural light. You can also enjoy the stunning view from several of the four bedrooms as well as from the open-plan kitchen-dining area connected to the living room. If the weather calls for cozy moments indoors and hot cocoa, you can light up the house’s wood-burning stove, and after a breezy walk, there’s nothing better than relaxing in the sauna. The latter is adjacent to one of the two bathrooms that complete the layout of the house. Add to that an annex with extra sleeping spaces, and all in all, you have a fantastic holiday home for two families with children, several couples, or a large family trip that also includes the grandparents.
Enjoy life outside
Outdoors, you’ll also have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the sea view from the large, elevated dune plot. Around the house, the grounds offer a flat lawn and several lovely terrace areas where you can sunbathe, barbecue, or take a nap in the lounge chairs. Southeast of the house, you can find shelter on days with a westerly breeze – and here, you can even look up at something as spectacular as a large bunker towering right above the dune plot. The outdoor facilities also include a shower, making it easy to rinse off sand and saltwater after your trip to the beach.
Get up close to the local attractions
From the holiday home, it’s just a few hundred meters to the beach, and part of the short walk can be taken via small, charming paths. The rolling dune landscape invites many outings on foot, whether you want to go on a long hike or simply wander around the neighborhood. A dip in the North Sea is almost always refreshing, or you can just relax and build sandcastles on the beach. Both Løkken and Blokhus are a short drive away, and Fårup Sommerland is definitely worth a visit if you’re traveling with children.
Remember, you can always borrow wagons, high chairs, and baby cots from us at Feriepartner Løkken. You can pick them up directly at the office and return them to us after your holiday.
