Well-kept holiday home in Pøt Strandby for 4 persons - close to the beach

We welcome you to this lovely holiday home in Pøt Strandby with only 350 meters to the beach. The house is a fine brick house with tiled floors, nicely furnished with a bright, open living room and wood stove. The open kitchen/dining room and living room are the heart of the house with large windows and direct access to the terrace. The fireplace is centrally located so you can sit on the sofa and enjoy the warmth or turn on the TV, which has a TV package with Danish, German and Scan­di­navi­an channels. In addition, there is a Chro­mecast, where you can choose the content you want to watch. The house also has free WiFi. The sofa corner is cosily furnished with cushions, and ideal for relaxing and reading a book.

The kitchen/living room has a lovely dining area, which also benefits from the lovely light coming in through the windows facing the garden. The open plan kitchen makes it easy to cook while joining in the con­ver­sa­tion around the dining table. The kitchen has eve­ryt­hing needed to cook for all the day's meals. There is a dis­hwas­her, microwave, coffee machine and plenty of table space for everyone to help cooking and enjoy them­sel­ves in the kitchen.

The room next to the kitchen has a microwave and freezer.

From the entrance hall, you enter a corridor where you have access to the bathroom and the three bedrooms of the house. One bedroom has a nice double bed (160x200 cm), with good closet space and direct access to the kitchen. The two smaller bedrooms have single beds and storage space. The house is therefore ideal for a family with two adults and two children.

Next to the rooms is also the bathroom of the house, which appears modern with shower and washing machine available. The bathroom has un­der­floor heating, while there is a heat pump for heating and cooling in the rest of the house.

Outdoors
The partially covered terrace is an extension of the house's living room, from which you can enjoy the lovely garden. The garden is green and sur­ro­un­ded by shrubs, so it is possible to be private and play a game on the large lawn.

There is also a barbecue on the terrace, which is ideal for preparing a nice evening meal and really enjoy the holiday at­mosp­he­re.

There are good garden furniture and sun loungers available to relax in and enjoy the sun on a good summer's day.

The house has a good driveway, which makes it easy to park the car once you have arrived and then do the short walk down to the water.

Location
With only 350 metres to Pøt beach in As Vig, there are plenty of op­portu­ni­ties to walk along the beautiful coast or take a dip in the sea. From Pøt Strandby there are various good walking trails, either through the forest to Nørgaard beach or along the coastal path to Snaptun or Ju­els­min­de.

From the cottage there is 2.5 ki­lo­me­ters to the nearest shopping and if you want to avoid cooking yourself, there are several options for eating a few ki­lo­me­ters away.

Just 12 ki­lo­metres from the house is Ju­els­min­de, a cosy harbour town with a lovely maritime en­viron­ment and several re­stau­rants. It's a great place to enjoy an ice cream and take part in the many acti­vi­ties taking place in the summer.

If you drive 20 minutes to Horsens, you can enjoy the city's wide selection of re­stau­rants, shops and cultural sites, such as the Horsens Prison, which is now a museum and always worth a visit.

Close to the holiday home is the small port town of Snaptun, from where there are daily de­par­tu­res to and from the small islands of Hjarnø and Endelave. It is easy and a great ex­pe­ri­en­ce to go on an island day trip to one of the small islands in the southern Kattegat.
