Pøt Strandby is situated between Juelsminde and Horsens, offering plenty of activities nearby, as well as a variety of dining and shopping options.
Juelsminde is a particularly charming town where the beach, marina, and shopping street are all within walking distance. There is a playground at the harbor, and many visitors come here just to enjoy an ice cream from the renowned ice cream café. Others visit to buy fresh seafood from Juelsminde Fisk, the local fishmonger at the harbor.
In the larger city of Horsens, you will find attractions and a lively pedestrian shopping area. One of the highlights is the old prison, now transformed into a fascinating interactive museum that offers insight into its history as a functioning penitentiary. The museum is called Fængslet.
