Welcome inside
This holiday home, built in 2009, is both stylish and functional, with its distinctive and charming architecture providing high ceilings and plenty of natural light throughout. This applies to both of the bedrooms as well as the living room, which also features a spacious loft. The living room is warmed by a wood-burning stove placed in a cosy corner by the sofa, and a TV with Chromecast is ready for movie nights. The dining table is positioned near the beautiful open kitchen, which includes a dishwasher and other modern appliances. The bathroom is just as neat and inviting as the rest of the house, and it conveniently includes both a washing machine and a dryer.
Enjoy life outside
With a plot of 1,604 m², there’s plenty of room for games and fun on the lawn. But with the fantastic shared area right across the street, it’s only natural to take advantage of the many activity options there. At the centre of Tranum Ferieby, the large green space offers a playground, beach volleyball, mini golf, a multi-sports court, football goals, and much more. There’s even a communal barbecue hut – though you might prefer to grill back at the house on your own south-facing, partially covered terrace.
Common area
The holiday home is located in a unique area where the common area plays a major role. Here you can enjoy an active holiday for all generations and you can freely and unlimitedly choose between the following activities; Football golf with 9 holes, a newly built mini golf course from 2022, Disc Golf and a krolf course with croquet holes. There are many options for football, both on grass and on the street court, where there are also basketball nets. If you fancy beach volleyball, this is also an option, and if you want to keep in shape, there are several fitness stations. For the younger guests, there is a huge sandpit, swings, play tower, slide, playhouse, zip wire, balance beam, spider web and seesaw. After the day's activities, you can relax in the barbecue hut where you can build a fire or enjoy an evening stroll on the hiking and cycling trail that takes you all around the area.
Get up close to the local attractions
Tranum Ferieby is surrounded by some of the most beautiful nature in North Jutland. You can set out directly from the village or drive into Tranum, where an 11-kilometre hiking route leads all the way to Fosdalen. A walk along the North Sea is of course highly recommended – or even a swim if the weather’s right. Tranum Beach is only a few kilometres away, making it easy to plan daily beach outings. In the surrounding plantations, such as Bredesande, you’ll find excellent opportunities to gather wild berries, chanterelles, and mushrooms. Groceries can be picked up in Tranum, and the nearby market towns of Brovst and Fjerritslev offer charming shops and restaurants that are open year-round. If you're up for more, you can play golf, take a shopping trip to Aalborg, or spend a fun-filled day at Fårup Sommerland – all within easy reach.
