Lungholm Manor is located in beautiful and rural surroundings on Southern Lolland near Rødby. The manor´s history can be traced back to 1434, and the domicile has been owned by different aristocratic families since. Today the manor is owned by Lord Nicolas de Bertouch-Lehn who has updated the manor in an excellent way. Today, Lungholm Manor is a very modern manor where the original style has been kept with the family´s furniture. The historical buildings with their aristocratic atmosphere are decorated tastefully in a luxurious way.
The castle
The house to rent consists of the main building and the western wing. The main building is 3-storeyed where the ground floor contains 5 sitting rooms, one of which has a pool table, 1 large dining room for 30 persons, 2 minor dining rooms and a large kitchen with dining facilities for 15 persons. The 16 bedrooms, 6 of which have direct access to shower/toilet, are located on the 1st and 2nd floor. There are 10 bathrooms in total and 3 extra toilets. From the house you can access several nice terraces, and as a tenant you have access to the 15 ha large and nice park. The manor is handicap-friendly with elevator, several bathrooms designed for the disabled and a lift which can be used in connection with the swimming-pool. The place is perfect for a weekend-break with the family, a company trip or a conference. Groups of young people not allowed. Area with swimming-pool
The western wing was restored a few years ago with facilities such as a swimming-pool, cozy lounge area, kitchenette and 4 bedrooms.
Mandatory linen
The Beds are made upon arrival + 2 towels per person. The linen package is mandatory and can’t be deselected.
Rental of party/conference room
As a tenant you can rent a building which is designed as a conference or party room for up to 150 persons with part/conference room, large kitchen, toilets and AV equipment which can be rented. Please contact us for further information and prices.
