You arrive at the locks cottage through the gate, which has an in­te­gra­ted carport on one side and a scullery on the other, con­tai­ning a washing machine and tumble dryer plus a fish cleaning table. Then you enter the enclosed patio where you can soak up the sun un­dis­tur­bed. In the holiday home itself, you enter directly into the kitchen section con­tai­ning a dining area. The kitchen is designed as an open plan area, separated from the living room only by the fireplace. The entire combined kitchen-family room and living room has a high and bright slanted ceiling. From the massive panoramic windows at the end of the living room, you have an unob­structed southern-facing view of the fjord and the water. The living room opens out into a small veranda. The living room is furnished with quality furniture and a flat screen cable TV. The cottage contains two large bedrooms, each with a good double bed and wooden flooring. One of the bedrooms offers wide panoramic windows facing south, with a fantastic view of the water. The bedroom also offers access to a small veranda. There is also a flat screen TV in the bedroom. The other bedroom accesses the enclosed patio. The locks cottage contains two bathrooms. Both have toilets plus floor heating. In addition, one has a hot tub and the other access to the sauna. The entire cottage offers free wireless internet. Location. The holiday home is one of the “Locks cottages”. Located next to the water locks in Hvide Sande, the cottages let guests ex­pe­ri­en­ce the authentic fishing at­mosp­he­re that permeates the whole town. The centre of town is 10 minutes away, with shopping and re­stau­rants right around the corner. It is not far to the excellent sand beaches on the North Sea. Angler friendly. Located right on Ringkøbing Fjord, the holiday home is perfect if you want to enjoy an angling holiday. The scullery also contains a fish cleaning area and a 100-litre freezer. A mere 100 metres from the holiday home, at the water locks, you'll find perfect fishing for herring and mackerel.
