Welcome inside

Here you are welcomed inside in a big hallway with tiled floor – very practical when the children have been outside playing. The house contains four good bedrooms that can ac­com­moda­te 10 persons. In the living room the dining table is the linchpin for active hours with board games etc. But you may also settle down in the sofa or the armchairs with a good book, while the wood burner is providing the heat and the cosy at­mosp­he­re. From all seats you have a fantastic view of the garden. The kitchen in open con­nection with the living room makes it possible for everybody to have a cosy time together, whether you are cooking, playing games or reading.

Enjoy life outside

The holiday house is located in a very popular and quiet area, so take a well-deserved rest in the sun with a cup of coffee and a good book, put the daily round behind you and enjoy the present. The bonfire setting is a perfect place to gather with cosiness, bonfire songs and twist­bre­ad. From the living room there are exit to a newly renovated terrace (spring 2025). That will be the place to enjoy the summer and the meals, prepared on the barbecue, while the children are scam­pe­ring about in the big garden with tram­po­li­ne and room for ball games ect.. When the evening is waning, you may retire into the gazebo and admire a starry evening sky.

Get close to the local at­tra­ctions

Go for a tour to the beach at either Isefjord or Roskilde Fjord, just a few minutes from the holiday house. In Kulhuse there is a sandy beach close to the harbour, where the Columbus ferry can bring you to North Zealand, or you may play on the “ship” Dorette by Kulhuse harbour. Go for a walk in Nord­s­ko­ven forest, where the desti­na­tion for your picnic could be the Three Oaks with a life story dating back more then 1000 years. In Jægerspris you may visit Jægerspris Castle and go for a walk in the castle park, see the grave of Countess Danner and finish the tour with an ice cream from one of the most popular ice cream stalls in Denmark. In the area there are many po­s­si­bi­li­ties for walks or bicycle tours such as the Fjord Path, bringing you along the fjord and into the landsca­pes of Horns­her­red. The Fjord Path is 230km long and offers wonderful views and varied paths, well suited for cyclists as well as hikers
