This appealing holiday house with terraces on several levels and a cosy interior, located on a closed quiet road, invites to relaxation and fun family time.

Welcome inside

We are entering the centre of the house, the living room/dining room with a cosy wood burner; furthermore there is another living room with a view to the garden that invites to relaxation and active family time. The interior of the house is dominated by a warm atmosphere and ample space for the small family with children. Settle down in the sofas and arrange a fun evening with board games without being interrupted by the TV, and talk till late in the evening.

Enjoy life outside

Enjoy a cup of coffee on the lovely terrace on several levels, while your children are playing on the swing stand with a slide in the spacious landscaped garden. Let yourselves go with a game of pole tennis and round off the day with a delicious meal from the barbecue.

Get close to the local attractions

Every holiday maker right here should visit the island Alholm close to the coast. The island offers beautiful nature experiences, and you can wade over there by normal water level! The water will reach your knees or maybe the crotch on the deepest spot. In Jægerspris you may visit the old castle and treat yourselves to an ice cream from Poulsen’s ice cream stall, selling ice cream since 1913, or enjoy a brunch at Frøken Anker’s Café. The mill in Jægerspris is still active, so during summer you can buy fresh flour here. Pack a picnic basket and explore Jægerspris Nordskov forest with many walking and bicycle routes. Make a stop by the 1000-years old oak trees, Kongeegen and Snoegen, and the highest point, Frederikshøj. Also pass by Svanholm Manor. Isefjord and Roskilde Fjord are both perfect for kayaking, and you may take the ferry to Sølager to visit Hundested with its glassblower at the harbour and the local brewery. Go for a swim in the clear water and enjoy the child-friendly sandy beach by the harbour in Kulhuse. If you want a longer outing, the old capital of Denmark in the 12th and 13th century, Roskilde, with its Viking Ship Museum and Cathedral, is only 45 minutes away from here by car. Or you can go to Copenhagen (1 hour), where you can see all that a capital can offer: Tivoli Gardens, Langelinie with the Little Mermaid as well as eating places in all categories.
