There is an entrance to one of the bedrooms from the living room. If you continue into the house, you'll reach the kitchen, where you'll find the old-fashioned decorations hanging from the ceiling. From the kitchen there is access to the covered terrace with dining area. Further in, you'll find the bedroom and alcove as well as the house's toilet/hand shower.

Enjoy life outside

When the morning light comes, it's time to sit outside and enjoy the stunning views of the Isefjord. Or take a morning swim - just 100 metres down to the fantastic child-friendly beach. This is also where you enjoy the afternoon with a good book, a cup of coffee or a glass of wine for a fading day with a stunning sunset.

Get close to the local experiences

If you want an active day, the area is ideal for walks along the water, down to Kulhuse harbour, where you have Roskilde Fjord. Take your bike to the Nordskoven forest with good cycling and hiking trails, where you can experience the old oak trees with over 1000 years of history behind them. There is a cycle path to Jægerspris where there are cafés and ice cream shops etc. and experience Jægerspris Castle, a trip to JAS, the town's amateur theatre with fantastic acting. From Kulhuse you can take the Columbus ferry to Sølager, visit Hundested and North Zealand.

From Kulhuse it takes about 45 minutes to reach Roskilde, enjoy the old capital (1200-1300s) with the Viking Ship Museum, Cathedral and many cosy restaurants.

If you like big cities - Copenhagen is a 1 hour drive from Kulhuse - here you can experience everything a big city contains, Tivoli Gardens, Museums, Cafés and a rich selection of exciting restaurants
