Description
You have the most fascinating view of the blue waves of the sea and the beach grass-covered dunes when you stay in this thatched quality house from 2015. The house is right on the coastal conservation line, just 100 meters from the shore, and furthermore well set back from Sønderho Strandvej – and such a location definitely makes the holiday days extra unforgettable.
Welcome inside
With its high thatched roof and red brick facade, the holiday home fits beautifully into the dune landscape, just like the classic old Fanø houses found around the Wadden Sea island. This house is a modern construction built with quality materials, and indoors, you and your loved ones can look forward to relaxing in the cozy living room, cooking in the open kitchen, and sleeping soundly in the inviting bedrooms. Three of the rooms are located on the first floor, and especially from the largest, you have the most captivating view of the sea. There are two bathrooms, and the one on the ground floor deserves special mention, as it includes a sauna and a bathtub, inviting you to slow down completely and simply enjoy life with wellness and relaxation.
Enjoy life outside
On the large dune plot of the holiday home, it is wonderful to be – especially when the sun is high in the sky, and you are comfortably reclined in a garden chair on one of the terraces. In this hilly landscape, you get nature's idyllic charm for all it's worth, whether you've found shelter in a dip or climbed up to a dune top to gaze out at the sea. For the children, there is a swing set and a sandbox, or they can freely romp around in nature, and together you can take the very short walk down to the beach to play in the sand or admire the beautiful sunsets.
Get up close to the local attractions
The natural surroundings of the holiday home are truly unique, as the Wadden Sea holds a distinguished place on UNESCO’s World Heritage list. When the mudflat is exposed, you can walk out to the sandbanks where the seals reside – just remember to check the tide tables first, or join a guided tour. Fanø also offers plenty of beautiful nature inland. For example, you can drive up along the west coast to Rindby Strand, which is one of the most popular places to swim. You can also take a trip in Fanø Plantation or out to the heath, and the island's small towns, Sønderho and Nordby, are also lovely to visit.
Please note that you can always borrow high chairs and cribs from Feriepartner Fanø. Reserve them through the booking so that they are ready for you when you arrive at the holiday home.
