Large holiday home in two levels – right by the dunes at Fanø Bad

The sur­ro­un­dings are truly special here at Kystvejen 23, where this lovely holiday home is located on a large dune plot in the first row to Fanø Bad's beautiful beach. From the terrace, you can gaze out over the hilly landscape with the blue sea on the horizon, and whether you want to swim, play golf, or dine at the local beach hotel, you can easily go on foot.

Welcome inside
From the road, the holiday home might initially resemble a classic wooden house for a small family. Therefore, it can be sur­pri­sing for first-time visitors to enter and see that there are two full levels to enjoy, as the house is built into the dunes. In total, there are 148 m² indoors, and thanks to ongoing mo­der­niza­tion projects, eve­ryt­hing appears neat and inviting. On the ground floor, you can spend a large part of your communal cozy moments in the living area where the living room and kitchen are combined. Here, you have a view of the sea and dunes, and if you want to get some fresh air while admiring the sur­ro­un­dings, you can open the door to the house's balcony. From one of the two bedrooms on this level, you also have a sea view and direct access to the outdoors, while two more bedrooms are located in the lower level – so overall, there are several options for sleeping ar­ran­ge­ments at bedtime. There are two bathrooms, and the one in the lower level is equipped with a lovely sauna. Finally, you will also find a living room on the lower level, where you and your loved ones can com­ple­te­ly relax near the crackling wood stove.

Enjoy life outside
The outdoor areas are nothing short of beautiful: Who wouldn't want to relax on a large dune plot with an unob­structed view of the stunning sunsets and direct access to the beach? A lovely terrace area extends around the ground floor: To the west, the sitting area is elevated above the dunes like a covered balcony, and to the south, there is a covered area protected by glass walls, so even the west wind shouldn't stop you from enjoying outdoor life. A sheltered terrace to the north is tucked away from the road, and from the living room in the lower level, you have direct access to the dunes if you want to quietly sit in the sun and watch the rolling beach grass.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
From the dune plot, you can continue into the dunes and find the highest point to admire the sunset, or you can walk all the way down to the beach to swim and play in the sand with your family. Kystvejen is nicely set back from Fanø Bad's main street, yet you have easy access to all the local acti­vi­ties, which include tennis courts, paddle courts, and two mini-golf courses, as well as the Fanø Ve­ster­havs­bads Golf Club, which is located about 150 meters away. At Kellers Badehotel, you can book a table at the delicious re­stau­rant, and if you head towards Nordby, you'll quickly reach the nearest grocery store and Fanø Brewery.
