Description
In the southern part of Fanø, the nature is so stunning that it can take your breath away. And when you stay in this lovely holiday home on Bjerges Leje, you don’t even need to move to admire the surroundings, as both the living room and terrace offer views of the large, white dunes extending towards Sønderho Strand.
Welcome inside
The fantastic natural surroundings are, of course, a compelling reason to choose this holiday home as your base for the vacation – but it's also important that the house has a bright and inviting atmosphere as well as a well-functioning layout for six people. There are three good bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower and sauna indoors, and perhaps especially the children will appreciate the cozy loft. If you enjoy cooking, the open kitchen serves as a lovely workspace when you want to bake rolls for breakfast or make something special for dinner. The dining table is positioned right by the windows, allowing natural light and the view to enhance your meal. If it feels cool outside, you can even light the wood stove to spread some extra warmth and cozy ambiance in the room.
Enjoy life outside
On the two lovely wooden terraces of the holiday home, you have ample opportunities to enjoy the fresh air and good weather in a peaceful setting. The southeast-facing terrace is the ideal choice early in the day, and if you really want to take in Sønderho’s scenic landscape, you should sit down in a comfortable garden chair on the southwest-facing terrace. Here, the view over the dunes is truly the most beautiful. On the lawn, the family has plenty of space to play and kick a ball, and with the swing set and sandbox, there is entertainment for the youngest while the adults dream of just sipping another cup of coffee before it’s time to go on an outing.
Get up close to the local attractions
A holiday in Fanø can certainly be spent enjoying nature when you stay on this peaceful road in one of the most beautiful areas in Sønderho. If you want to swim or just take a walk along the coast, you’ll first need to cross the dunes before you reach the wide sandy beach. You can easily fill your days with surfing, cycling trips, and seal safaris, or you can go out to collect oysters in the Wadden Sea and thereby get to know the vast tidal area better. At the same time, there are charming towns to visit on Fanø – not least Sønderho, which offers an art museum, an inn, and many beautiful and protected old houses.
Please note that you can always borrow high chairs and cribs from Feriepartner Fanø. Reserve them through the booking so that they are ready for you when you arrive at the holiday home.
