Øer (islands) is a cosy and popular holiday area located near the forest and beach. The beach is characterised as a sandy beach with shallow water. However, in some places on the beach you may find a mixture of stones and sand. If you want to speed up your holiday with mountain bikes, there is a 13 km long course in the area, which is divided into difficulty levels. If you like modern art, you can drive to the harbour in Ebeltoft and take a look inside the Glass Museum. The harbour also offers several good places to eat and you can buy freshly caught fish. If you're visiting Ebeltoft town, it's worth taking a look around the cosy cobbled streets. Here you'll also find several exciting shops with handicrafts and cosy cafés. In Ebeltoft town, you'll also find the town's beautiful landmark, the Old Town Hall, where people from near and far can get married. The holiday home is about an hour's drive from the Kattegat Centre and the largest amusement park in the Nordic region, Djurs Sommerland.
