Description
Welcome inside
Only 17 kilometres separate this holiday home from Denmark's second largest city, Aarhus. On the ground floor of the spacious two-storey holiday home, you will find a dining room with a wood-burning stove and access to the terrace as well as a cosy TV room. The large kitchen with plenty of space is also located on the ground floor. In the kitchen, a dishwasher, among other things, makes it easier for you to complete everyday tasks. Due to the size of the kitchen, you can easily prepare meals with your other family members. If they don't like stirring pots and peeling potatoes, they can simply make themselves comfortable at the table and keep you company. An attractive bathroom with shower, underfloor heating, washing machine, tumble dryer and access to the sauna is also located on the ground floor. The same applies to three of the eight bedrooms. From the large entrance hall, a staircase takes you to the first floor, where you are greeted by a living room with access to a covered balcony. On the balcony, you will be spoilt with a beautiful view of the water. The rest of the upper floor is given over to three bedrooms with a total of five beds and an older bathroom with a bathtub. There is plenty of cupboard space in the large hallway. An internet connection is available.
Enjoy life outside
Your holiday home is situated on an attractive plot with a large courtyard and good parking facilities. A double carport is available. An open terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue welcomes you at the back of the house. The lawn in front invites you to play garden games and relax together. When the weather is nice and sunny, you and your loved ones will love basking in the sun, enjoying the relaxing atmosphere and the peaceful holiday pace and rounding off a long day's holiday with an atmospheric barbecue dinner.
Get up close to the local attractions
Studstrup is a small village in East Jutland, located directly on Kalø Vig, just 17 kilometres north-east of Aarhus city centre. On the beach you will find the beautiful ‘Fiskerhøj’, which is located down by the water and attracts many visitors in the summer months. There are picnic benches on the lawn in front of the beach where you and your family can enjoy the treats you have brought with you while admiring the beautiful view over the water. There are good farm shops in the neighbourhood for you to visit. Around three kilometres separate you from the interesting Kalø Vig marina. After just under half an hour's drive, you'll be in the centre of Aarhus - a big city with lots of great tourist attractions. Visit the famous Tivoli Friheden, the impressive open-air museum Den Gamle By, the famous ARoS art museum and the Botanical Gardens. Things are much more tranquil in the old trading town of Ebeltoft, also around 30 minutes' drive away, where the famous old town hall “Det Gamle Rådhus”, the Glass Museum, the frigate Jylland and the Maltfabrikken cultural centre are all waiting for your family's visit.
