Description
This first class house (”Teglgård”) addresses families wanting to spend a holiday less ordinary in luxurious and comfortable surroundings. It is also very suitable for family gatherings, weddings and company events and meetings (AV equipment available). The property is located in the village of Vonsild a few kilometres south of Kolding and is surrounded by a park-like garden with access to the lake and the 2 beautiful garden houses. You arrive at Teglgård via the beautiful driveway with water fountain. Via the main stairs you arrive to the impressive hall with access to the sitting rooms and the stairs to the 1st floor. On the ground floor you can access the dining room where 20 persons can be seated, the library and the sitting room with the fireplace. The large kitchen in a rustique style includes a large gas stove and a dining section for 6 persons. The property contains 8 individually decorated bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, one of which is part of the large master bedroom and includes jacuzzi, double shower cabin and sauna. 5 bedrooms are located on the 1st floor where you also have access to an activity room with pool table and a corner with flatscreen TV and Playstation 3. In the basement there is a wine cellar where you can chat away nice evenings while enjoying the wine you brought along. In a separate building you can also find an activity room with indoor tennis court and space for activities. The separate building can also be used for parties and gatherings. The garden house offers access to an outdoor kitchen and a large grill section. On the large terrace you can relax in the outdoor jacuzzi, which is perfect for spending a nice summer night together with family and friends.
Please note
The following has to be paid to the maid at arrival: Deposit DKK 7000-, mandatory final cleaning DKK 3600,- and consumption of electricity, water and oil. When renting Teglgård, the beds are made and there are towels provided. The linen set (including towels) have to be paid upon arrival (DKK 110,- per person).
The maid is at your disposal during the entire stay with advice and cleaning (about 5 hours).
The area
Vonsild is located in the outskirts of Kolding with a bakery and good opportunities for grocery shopping. The centre of Kolding is not far away where you can find the former king´s castle Koldinghus which is being used as a museum today. Opposite Koldinghus there is the aquapark Slotssøbadet which also offers wellness in historical surroundings at Dronning Dorotheas Badstue. Also the art museum Trapholt is worth a visit. It is the only art museum in Denmark where you can enjoy paintings, handicraft, design and furniture design. Kolding also offers a nice walking street and a large shopping centre. Both offer a large variety of shops, restaurants and cafés. Large attractions such as Legoland and the zoo Givskud Løvepark are only about 45 minutes away by car.
