The area
Flovt Strand is located at the east coast of Jutland just 9 km from Haderslev. The area consists of a small holiday area and a sandy beach, almost without stones. A part of the beach is allowed for nude swims. Haderslev is a charming town and here is a great pedestrian street. A few kilometers north of Flovt Strand is Årø. The small island has a very beautiful scenery, abundant wildlife and landscaped bike and walking trails. At the small port provides local fishermen and boaters for a cozy atmosphere. The ferry to Årø goes regularly and the crossing takes only 10 minutes.
