The children will love exploring the garden, where they can bounce on the trampoline, swing high into the sky, and dig in the sandbox. The charming playhouse is the ideal spot for imagination and fun, where little ones can create their own adventures. When the kids are having fun, mom and dad can relax too. On the partially covered terrace, you can enjoy the outdoors, light up the grill, and enjoy a delicious dinner. And as the cherry on top, there’s a cozy bonfire pit, where you can gather around a crackling fire, roast marshmallows, and enjoy warm summer evenings under the stars before tucking the kids in and enjoying some adult time.
Get up close to the local attractions
Fjellerup Strand is an old fishing village and today an attractive holiday area on Djursland's lovely northern coast. Here you'll find a bakery, a grocery store, and restaurants. The beach is very child-friendly, with lovely shallow water and mostly sandy bottom. The nature along the northern coast is wonderfully varied, with numerous small paths and roads crisscrossing the landscape, making it ideal for beautiful hikes and bike rides. Anglers will find the best conditions, and windsurfers are drawn to Fjellerup like magic. If you don't have success fishing, you can buy fresh fish locally. In the harbor area, you'll find restaurants and a very popular ice cream shop.
Nearby attractions include the beautiful Meilgård Castle, where you can enjoy culinary delights at the castle restaurant. The historically important stone caves at Tustrup and the so-called Stone Tombs are also definitely worth a visit. The kids will love Northern Europe's largest amusement park, Djurs Sommerland, just a 15-minute drive away, with new and exciting activities almost every year. In just a half-hour drive, you can also reach popular attractions like the Scandinavian Wildlife Park, Ree Park Safari, and the exciting Kattegatcenter in Grenå. And of course, there’s everything else on Djursland not to be forgotten.
