From July 5th, the house will be ready to welcome you, and right now, the craftsmen are putting the final touches on every detail – eve­ryt­hing thought­ful­ly arranged so your holiday can begin in the very best way.

Inside, you’ll be greeted by airy rooms with high ceilings and a modern design that invites re­laxa­tion, con­nection, and that special holiday feeling. Large windows let the daylight flood in, and from every room, you can open the doors straight onto the terrace – letting the fresh air and the soft songs of birds ef­fort­les­s­ly become part of your stay.

The heart of the house is the elegant kitchen, where high-quality materials, generous space, and a handy Quooker are ready to make your holiday life even easier. From here, the open-plan living area extends with an inviting dining space leading into a cosy lounge with soft furniture – perfect for unwinding, playing games, or watching a good movie together.

As the day winds down, four lovely bedrooms await you – three with wonderful double beds and one family bedroom featuring both a double bed and a spacious bunk bed in adult size.

The holiday home offers two stylish and modern bathrooms where you can take your time under the shower, rinse off the sand after a beach day, or simply enjoy a quiet moment of peace. In the utility room, both a washing machine and a dryer are ready, making it easy to keep your holiday wardrobe fresh – whether it's sandy swimsuits or jackets after a day exploring nature.

As night falls and the children are tucked in, dreaming of the day’s ad­ven­tu­res, the terrace trans­forms into your private retreat. Here, your own outdoor spa awaits – sink into the warm, bubbling water under a canopy of stars and feel the peace settle in.

The outdoor fireplace gently crackles in the ba­ck­gro­und, and the world feels de­li­cious­ly far away – leaving only you, the moment, and the pure holiday tranquil­li­ty.

Enjoy life outside

When the sun glides across the terrace and holiday spirits are at their peak, the outdoor spaces quickly become the family's favourite hangout. With sunny spots and cosy covered areas, there's always a perfect place to settle – perhaps with a good book in the shade, a steaming cup of fresh morning coffee in the first golden rays, or a delicious meal under a sky slowly turning pink at sunset.

The large, green lawn invites play and lively acti­vi­ties – challenge each other to a game of football, a round of rounders, or a joyful game of tag. The youngest guests will no doubt love the sandbox and the climbing frame complete with a slide, swing, and climbing wall – their laughter and delight filling the garden.

As the day slowly fades into evening, and the children are tucked into bed with rosy cheeks, a calming quietness spreads over the house and garden. On the terrace, you can light up the outdoor fireplace, enjoy a good glass of wine, and listen to the soft crackle of the flames under a sky full of stars.

And as the ultimate treat, your private spa awaits. Here, you can sink into the warm, bubbling water, feel the day’s ad­ven­tu­res melt away, and share stories of the day while the night gently embraces you.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

On your way to the holiday home, you'll pass through the charming little village of Gjerrild, where you’ll find Sostrup Castle, a beautiful church, a cosy inn, and a local grocer. Gjerrild Nord­s­trand offers a wonderful, family-friendly beach with soft sand, a Blue Flag for water quality, and lovely dunes – simply perfect for families with children.

Gjerrild Klint is one of Denmark’s best spots for birdwat­ching, and from here, you also have access to some of Djursland’s prime sea trout fishing spots. The area is full of excellent trails for hiking, running, and cycling, including the popular North Sea Trail, which stretches all the way from Udbyhøj at Randers Fjord to Grenaa.

Grenaa, the old market town, is only about a 20-minute drive from the house and offers charming pe­de­stri­an streets, sidewalk cafés, and exciting at­tra­ctions like Museum Østjylland and the Kattegat Centre, where you can meet sharks, penguins, and seals up close.

The kids will love a day at Djurs Som­mer­land, Scan­di­navia’s largest amusement park, just half an hour’s drive away – not to mention the many other fantastic acti­vi­ties Djursland has to offer. Don’t miss a visit to Randers Ra­in­fo­rest or the beautiful southern part of Djursland.
