Description
Welcome inside
A lovely holiday home with soul. It is clear that the owners also use the house themselves and there is nothing missing in either the kitchen or the living room. You'll have a great place to stay with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Cosy living room with wood-burning stove, heat pump and access to the terrace where you can sit and enjoy the scent of Helgenæs and look out over the grounds. The living room is open to the dining area and kitchen - so everyone can join in, whether you're playing games or cooking.
Enjoy life outside
The grounds are level around the house, so there are plenty of opportunities for fun outdoor activities. There's also a lovely shelter for the kids to play in - you can sleep outdoors on warm summer nights or cosy up with the others if the weather takes a turn for the worse. There are both covered and open terraces, so depending on the weather, everyone can sit and socialise outside. If you're a hardcore outdoorsman, there's also an outdoor kitchen, so with the help of the barbecue you can cook up a storm for everyone to enjoy.
Get up close to the local attractions
Helgenæs is an enchanting place with its rugged nature and water on all sides of the peninsula. It makes perfect sense to put on good walking shoes and explore the area. There are several hiking trails and cycling around the beautiful and hilly landscape is also a great option. Sandy beaches and fairly shallow water can be found on both sides of the isthmus of Helgenæs, while the rest of Helgenæs has deeper water. Mols Bjerge National Nature Park is 8 kilometres from the house and the old market town of Ebeltoft is 20 kilometres away. Just under an hour's drive to the largest amusement park in Scandinavia, Djurs Sommerland, Ree Park Safari and Scandinavian Zoo.
