Description
Welcome Inside: Imagine waking up in this lovely summer house from 2003, with its high ceilings and large windows letting in the morning light. Numerous charming angles and cozy corners create the perfect setting for memorable holiday moments. Step out through the patio door to a fantastic southwest-facing terrace, where you can enjoy your morning coffee while the children happily play on the lawn. Inside, the living area invites togetherness. An open kitchen flows seamlessly into the dining and living room – a natural gathering place for the family. Here, you can cook together, play board games, or simply relax with other activities or TV. When the day comes to an end and the patio door closes, it’s time to enjoy the night in one of the five bedrooms – all with double beds, and one with a bunk bed over the double bed. Two bathrooms offer both a bubbling spa and a warm sauna for relaxation. The utility room is practically designed with space for outerwear and a stroller, and both a washing machine and dryer are ready for use.
Enjoy Life Outside:The southwest-facing terrace is secluded, sheltered, and partially covered. It’s the perfect place to enjoy the sun and outdoor life during the day and to eat delicious food from the fragrant grill in the evening. The children will love the garden, where the large lawn with a trampoline and swings invites play, and the shelter beckons with adventurous overnight stays in the open air. When darkness falls, you can light the fire pit, roast marshmallows, and talk about the day’s delightful experiences. Just 300 meters away is the child-friendly Fjellerup Beach, where you can enjoy the sun, build sandcastles, and play in the waves. Grab a delicious ice cream cone on the way home.
Get Close to Local Experiences: Fjellerup Beach is beautifully situated on the northern coast of Djursland. The beach is ideal for children with its shallow water and sandy bottom. With a blue flag, dunes, and small alleys, it’s the perfect destination for a day filled with play and adventure. The nature around Fjellerup is fantastic and varied, with many hiking trails and smaller roads perfect for cycling trips. In spring, you can enjoy the sight of yellow rapeseed fields and the most beautiful, light green deciduous forests. There are also good opportunities for fishing, and many children love to catch crabs. For an exciting day trip, you can visit Mejlgård Castle, the stone dolmens at Tustrup, and Gl. Estrup Agricultural Museum. From the summer house, it’s only about a 15-minute drive to Scandinavia’s largest amusement park, Djurs Sommerland, which always has something new to offer. Here, the family can get their adrenaline pumping and also enjoy the many child-friendly activities. Within a half-hour drive, you can reach the charming market town of Grenaa, where you can visit the Kattegat Centre with sharks, penguins, and seals – an exciting experience for the children. If you are willing to spend an hour in the car, you can go to Randers, where you can explore the Elvis Museum and Randers Rainforest, or visit Ebeltoft and Mols Bjerge in the southern part of Djursland. Last but not least, you can get a taste of city life with plenty of shopping and culture in Jutland’s capital, Aarhus, where there is something for both children and adults. Fjellerup Beach is the perfect starting point for an unforgettable family holiday filled with experiences and fun.
