It welcomes you with a cosy kitchen and dining area adjoining the attractively furnished living room. You can even enjoy the view of the water while preparing meals in the kitchen. From the kitchen, you can access a beautiful, covered terrace with an enchanting 180-degree panoramic view of Ebeltoft Vig. One of the two bathrooms has a shower cubicle. In the second bathroom, a whirlpool and sauna invite you to enjoy relaxing moments full of wellness flair. The sleeping areas are spread over three bedrooms.

Your high-altitude holiday home will delight you with a wonderful view over the surrounding area and the bay of Ebeltoft. Beautiful terrace areas with garden furniture and a barbecue are at your disposal. Your house is just 350 metres from the water. It is pleasantly peaceful and quiet in the open air. Instead of traffic noise, all you hear is the chirping of birds. While you relax in peace and take in the view, your children will be playing happily in the garden. Your family dog is also very welcome in this holiday home. The surrounding area is ideal for walks and other outdoor activities. After a long, active day in the great outdoors, treat yourself to a relaxing dip in the hot tub or a sauna session or two.

Your holiday home is located in a beautiful nature reserve in Mols Bjerge National Park. The child-friendly surroundings are criss-crossed by a good system of paths and trails. The child-friendly beach is also within easy reach. Thanks to the hilly terrain, you can set off on wonderful walks and cycle tours. The picturesque town of Ebeltoft with all its sights is just a short distance away. The most popular visitor destination is the old town hall, Det Gamle Rådhus. In the harbour, the Glasmuseet, one of the leading museums in the field of modern glass art, is also looking forward to your family's visit.
The popular Reepark, where you can get up close to wild animals, is around a quarter of an hour away by car. The interesting Kattegatcentret in Grenaa and the largest amusement park in the north, Djurs Sommerland, are around half an hour's drive away.

We never tire of the view from Makrelvej 22 – it is simply magical. From the house and terrace, Ebeltoft Bay spreads out before you, and you can watch the light and colours change throughout the day. Here, there is peace and quiet, birdsong and fresh air – and you immediately feel your shoulders drop when you arrive.
We often start the day with a dip from the bathing jetty just a few hundred metres from the house. The water in the bay is usually calm and clear, and there is something very special about standing up out of the water and seeing the sun glistening over Ebeltoft in the distance. Then it's time for morning coffee on the terrace, where you can sit for a long time and enjoy the view, the light and the silence. The house is located high up, so there is no noise from cars or the road.
Ebeltoft is a fantastic old town with charm and soul. The narrow cobbled streets, half-timbered houses and small courtyards make it an experience just to walk through the town. Here you will find cosy cafés, good restaurants and small shops selling art, design and local specialities. In summer, the town buzzes with life – but even in the quieter months, Ebeltoft has a tranquillity and warmth that makes it something very special.
The area around the house is perfect for lovely walks. The terrain is gently rolling and offers many paths with beautiful views of the bay and the surrounding countryside. Mols Bjerge National Park is right in the backyard and offers opportunities for both short walks and longer excursions in the unique natural surroundings.
As the day draws to a close, it is wonderful to light the spa, enjoy a quiet moment in the sauna or simply sit on the terrace with a glass of wine and watch the sun set over the bay. For us, Makrelvej 22 is a place where you can really relax and just enjoy life – exactly as a holiday should be.
