Not far from the water, this older but extremely charming and cosy holiday home awaits you. The house has a bright living room with cosy furnishings and a wood-burning stove. The small but functional kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, among other things. The sleeping areas are divided into a bedroom with two bunk beds and a bedroom with two single beds. As an alternative to the bunk beds, you can also use the sofa in the living room as sleeping accommodation. The good bathroom includes a shower cubicle. Free WiFi and Apple TV provide entertainment and variety.
Enjoy life outside
The holiday home is situated on an attractive plot with space for playing and various outdoor activities. There is a covered veranda with garden furniture in front of the house. The property spoils you with a small sea view and a cosy fire pit where you can roast bread and sausages every evening. A trampoline is available for younger holidaymakers.
Get up close to the local attractions
Holme Strand is located in a beautiful nature reserve with a view of the 49 metre high Jernhatten hill. Jernhatten is home to numerous rare plant species and a rich animal life. A walk along the water and the steep slopes is a particularly beautiful nature experience. Holme Strand is also very popular with anglers. You can even launch your own boat here. The picturesque town of Ebeltoft is just a quarter of an hour's drive away and offers a variety of tourist attractions and will delight you with its crooked old houses and narrow cobbled streets. Visit the old town hall, Det Gamle Rådhus, for example, where countless couples from all over the world get married every year. Just 8 kilometres from the house is the popular Ree Park, a safari park where you can get up close to wild animals. The largest amusement park in the north, Djurs Sommerland, is also just an hour away. Thanks to the numerous rides and attractions at Djurs Sommerland, it's certainly not just your children's eyes that will light up. If you fancy getting up close and personal with some really big sharks, we recommend a visit to the impressive Kattegatcentret in Grenaa, which is around 30 minutes from the holiday home.
