There’s plenty of room for your beach bags and swimwear after a day by the sea. From the entrance, you’ll move into the bright and airy living room, where you’re greeted by a breathtaking panorama of the lovely garden, the charming orangery, and the cozy annex. Whether you're peeling potatoes at the kitchen counter, setting the table for dinner, or curling up with a good book on the sofa, you’ll enjoy the same tranquil view—and perhaps even the soft crackle of the wood-burning stove in the background.The house features two cozy bedrooms—one with a double bed and the other with a double sofa bed—as well as a delightful bathroom with a shower. Additionally, the annex offers two more bedrooms with double sofa beds and another bathroom.

Shady trees, herb beds, and a lovely wooden terrace connecting the house and annex make outdoor life irresistible. In the middle of the terrace, a cleverly designed fire pit invites you to gather for cozy evenings under the stars.
Get up close to the local attractions
Gjerrild Strand is renowned for its beautiful, Blue Flag beach and its surrounding lush forests, which are stunning in every season. The area offers excellent hiking and cycling trails that follow nearly the entire northern coastline of Djursland—making holiday exercise feel anything but a chore. There’s also something truly special about savoring the peace and glittering sea with a fishing rod in hand and a thermos at your side. On the way to the house, you’ll pass through Gjerrild, a charming little village with a church, its own grocer, and a historic inn. At the inn, you can enjoy traditional Danish dishes, and just behind it lies Sostrup Castle, steeped in history.Only 15 minutes away by car is the bustling town of Grenå, where you can shop, dine, and visit the Museum Østjylland, a cultural history museum housed in a beautiful 18th-century merchant’s house. Say hello to fascinating fish, sharks, seals, and penguins at the Kattegat Center, or catch a ferry to Anholt or Sweden.Within an hour’s drive, you can explore the old market town of Ebeltoft, the National Park Mols Bjerge, Ree Park Safari, Djurs Sommerland amusement park, and the Scandinavian Wildlife Park.
