Get up close to the local attractions
The area around Øer is a charming and child-friendly holiday destination. Nature lovers can enjoy a rich variety of animals and birds. You can easily reach the beautiful beach on foot from your holiday home. The same applies to the nearby Øer Maritime Ferieby holiday complex, where you can do your daily shopping in summer. Active holidaymakers will find a 13-kilometre MTB trail and various hiking trails. The town of Ebeltoft, around six kilometres away, welcomes your family with several sights. In the harbour you will find the famous glass museum as well as several good restaurants and fishmongers. The old town hall, Det Gamle Rådhus, welcomes you in the historic centre, where countless couples from all over the world say ‘I do’ year after year for good reason. On summer evenings, Ebeltoft's legendary night watchman looks forward to patrolling the narrow alleyways with you and singing. The tour starts at 8 and 9 pm at the old town hall. If you want to experience animals from all over the world up close, we recommend a jeep safari through the popular Ree Park. The largest amusement park in the north, Djurs Sommerland, which you can reach by car within an hour, guarantees an exciting, thrilling and fun-filled day for young and old.
