Description
You will live right next to open fields and pleasantly undisturbed at the end of a closed road when you holiday at Sortbærvej 20 by Skaven Strand. With approximately one kilometer to Ringkøbing Fjord, it is obvious to spend a large part of the time at the water's edge - but it is now also tempting to stay at home to relax in the hot tub or cozy up in style in the lovely living room.
Welcome inside
The beautiful field landscape is invited right into the living room by the large south-facing gable window, which also provides excellent light. The dining table is located right by the window, and even when you must cook in the open kitchen, you can stand and enjoy a ray of sunshine while listening to music or reviewing the day's experiences with the family. On a chilly day, you can light up the wood-burning stove, and a hot spa bath in the bathroom is also a nice way to relax indoors. And when it's time to say goodnight, you and your loved ones have three good bedrooms to share.
Enjoy life outside
The cottage's lovely garden lies quite undisturbed at the bottom of the closed road, and there is plenty of space on the lawn if the children want to play or if they succeed in persuading the adults to play ball or frisbee. The swing set with slide and the sandbox can probably also entertain the youngest for a good while - and in the meantime you can perhaps get a well-deserved rest in a good garden chair or enjoy the undisturbed field view over the hedge. The terrace is nice and sunny, and it is partially screened, so there are good chances of finding a place to stay sheltered from the wind.
Get close to the local experiences
Sortbærvej lies peacefully in the south-east corner of a closed area, and with small paths, a playground and green surroundings, it is an ideal place for a family holiday. The short distance to the water is of course also a plus, and here at Skaven Strand there is something for both young and old. If the whole family is to join, you can swim in the shallow water, catch crabs from the jetty and look at boats rocking in the harbor - and if there is more going on, the most daring family members can go windsurfing or kitesurfing. On foot or by bike, you can set out in the beautiful coastal landscape, for example on a lovely excursion to Skjern Enge.
