Description
This lovely wooden summer house for eight people is located on a small, closed road in a quiet corner of Skaven Strand. Ringkøbing Fjord is just 500 meters away, and there are plenty of activities for both families with children and outdoor enthusiasts in the scenic area - but there is now also a good reason to enjoy the holiday at home in the summer house, which offers a hot tub, sauna and even a wilderness bath on the terrace.
Welcome inside
The 93 m2 summer house has an excellent layout with four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a spacious living room with an integrated kitchen. Bedrooms and bathrooms are divided so that two families can each have their own section, while everyone can gather in the living section when it's time to cook and then eat at the long table. If you want to relax on the sofa with a fire in the wood-burning stove, hot cocoa in the cups and perhaps a film on the flat-screen TV, that can also be done here. And if you need to relax completely, fill the house's hot tub with hot water, turn on the sauna and look forward to spending an hour or two in charitable wellness.
Enjoy life outside
On a sunny summer day, the green backyard is where it all happens: the children can have fun on the swing and play football on the lawn, and if you want to be close to them while they jump on the trampoline or play in the sandbox, you can settle down at the table-bench set right next to it. A nap in the hammock in the shade of the trees can also come into play, and when you want to grill or drink an iced coffee, it's great to sit on the cottage's large terrace, which offers both open and covered seating. On the terrace you will also find a wilderness bath, so even when the weather is cool, you can relax in the warm water with a view of the garden's greenery.
Get close to the local experiences
From the closed wing, it doesn't take many minutes to walk to Skaven's lovely beach, which, with its shallow water, is popular with both families with children and windsurfers. If the good weather is not only to be enjoyed at the water's edge with a view of Ringkøbing Fjord, there is also the opportunity to play on the area's playgrounds and frolic on the ball courts, and a game of mini golf or a fishing trip at the local fishing lake might also tempt you. From Skaven Strand, you can follow the path along the water towards either Skjern Enge or Bork Havn, and if you want to go on a long bike ride, you can drive around the entire Ringkøbing Fjord.
