Lovely holiday house at the end of a closed road in Bork Havn
House-ID: C11659If you dream of having a relaxing holiday in cosy, scenic and family-friendly surroundings, Bork Havn is the perfect holiday destination. This holiday home is quietly located at the end of a closed road, and thanks to the inviting interior and the lovely outdoor areas, you will have plenty of opportunity to relax and enjoy the holiday life.
Welcome inside
Inside the cottage, the atmosphere is light and pleasant, because there are white painted wooden moldings on the walls, and the furniture is both neat and comfortable. There are three bedrooms, but the floor plan is best for four people, so at night there are more distribution options if the teenager or other family members want to sleep in peace. Regardless of whether you yourself are a long sleeper or love to get up early, you can start the day with an invigorating shower in the bathroom, before making coffee and finding something good to eat in the well-equipped kitchen. The kitchen is in an open connection with the living room, and here you get a cozy setting for reading books, playing board games and watching TV near the wood-burning stove.
Enjoy life outside
Around the cottage there are several good seating areas to choose from, and perhaps you want to settle down in a ray of sunshine on the east-facing wooden terrace first thing in the day. However, it is likely that the south-west-facing terrace will be your favourite, because it is somewhat larger and even partially covered - and it is very conveniently located in an extension of the living room, so it is easy to take the summer lunch outside. The car can stay in the gravel driveway, and the lawn invites to play and ball games, if you don't slip off with the children to the nearest playground to frolic there.
Get close to the local attractions
In Bork Havn there are several good playgrounds, and with ball courts, skating rinks, mini golf and even a surf beach, there is entertainment and fun activities for all age groups. Bork Legeland is also just a ten-minute walk from the cottage, and the open-air museum Bork Vikingehavn can also be recommended if you are looking for an exciting excursion option nearby. The cozy harbor environment and the child-friendly bathing beach are just one and a half kilometers away, and there are restaurants, a grocery store, bicycle rental and much more in Bork Havn. If you want to get out into nature, you can of course follow the path along Ringkøbing Fjord – possibly all the way to Skjern Enge – and the Tipperne bird reserve and the North Sea's beautiful beaches are also among the natural gems of the local area.
